Brought my step-daughter for a day trip to Oxford and chose the climb to the top of the University Church as the first thing to do. It was AWESOME! And worth EVERY ONE of the 120+ claustrophobic, narrow, winding steps. The view is phenomenal and...More

Visited the church last November. I was not really amazed by the church. However, I decided to climb the tower (for 4 pounds I think) and after some stairs I made it to the top. I was rewarded with an amazing view of Oxford and...More

If you fit and active climb the tower for the most spectacular views across Oxford. It's a beautiful place to spend a while.

Located in the heart of the city, right in the High Street, beautiful indoors, really worth a quick (or not that quick) visit!

Yes, it's a circular tower with a lot of steps -- not for the very faint of heart -- but how beautiful a view it affords! The church also has wonderful acoustics: if you ever hear about a concert in this church as venue, attend.

The church offers a climb to the top of the tower with excellent views from the top. A good place to start the tour in Oxford. It closes at 17:00.

Lovely church and amazing view from the top of the tower (£4 charge). You really get a good understanding of Oxford’s geography and some amazing views of the colleges so worth doing early in your visit.

Climb the tower; best view of Oxford, worth the 4 pounds for sure! Avoid bringing large backpacks or anything of the sort as the staircase is incredibly tight.
