Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely place to relax when the weather's good. It's a bit of a walk to get to a nice swimming spot, but the meadow is very picturesque, with some impressive horses wandering about. River is nice to swim in but I've heard it's not very clean, so be cautious and swim at your own risk.

This is lovely place to come for a walk, accessible on foot or by car. It is very tranquil with many wild flowers. I would recommend walking here on the canal from town or via Jericho and then heading back along the River Thames which brings you out by the railway station.

so much space in this meadow …so much sky and cattle grazing. Horses trot about. The river is wide enough and lots of wild geese and swans can be found. Must visit!

Port Meadow is linked to Alice's adventures, and who knows, you might see a white rabbit along with horses, Great for summer parties and winter walks although there is space for all away from the entry points.

I took a breather between my lectures in the local university and went there for a quick snack surrounded by nature. I was surprise how lively this place is. If at any point I am located near this palce I will go very often with my family

Lovely place to walk, the medley was nice to stop off for a drink with great views of the water. Perfect for a hot day and plenty to see.

This is a lovely part of Oxford ideal for dog walking provided your dog doesn’t chase wildlife.
You can see the spires of Oxford in the distance.
One side of the river is where the horses and cows are.
The other side is where the lock is and you can walk to the Perch.

Ancient meadow with Oxford skyline in the distance. The river flows by in a number of channels with children swimming and herons fishing.
