Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic tour, Heidi had a wonderful knowledge of both Oxford and all the Morse/ Lewis/ Endeavour series, with lovely personal asides as well. Even though we didn’t know any of the other members of the group she made it feel more like a family outing.

Thank you Heidi for such a fun packed and knowledgeable tour of Morse/Lewis and Endeavour. I have never seen Endeavour but you certainly bought the series to life and I will be checking it out!
This tour also including the sights of Oxford was a birthday treat from my friend and it certainly made our trip with all the humour and comaraderie.
Heidi is a very experienced guide with bags of personality.

For Morse fans, this tour was excellent. You saw some of the places the series was filmed at and also learned about the actors and how the writers worked in twists and turns into the plot making you realize you have to watch each episode quite carefully and more than once. And Oxford is an amazing place to see.

Is the Morse, Lewis, etc walking tour only one day a week?
I can only be in Oxford Tues, July 19. Any suggestions?

The Morse / Lewis and Endeavour Tour is on 6 days a week incl. Tuesday 19th July and places are still, currently, available. You can book on-line at via my website but I am not allowed to post that here so you need to click on the link from the TripAdvisor page that says 'website'.

Staying in Kensington in August. Our son is a physics major at university and wants to tour the physics sections of Oxford, specifically where Brian Greene may have worked. Is this is possibly highlighted in any walking tour?

Hi there.
Your best bet would be to book a private walking tour and then it could visit any location you wanted (within reason). Brian attended Magdalen college which could be visited on a private tour (but is not on the standard public tours). The physics department is slightly of the main 'tourist route' so it would not be visited on a standard public tour and you would not generally be able to go inside. Alternatively you could join a group tour for an overview of Oxford and then visit these places independently in the afternoon. Please see website for tour details or email me direct. Best wishes Heidi and team

Hi,
Just wondering if the Morse tour is suitable for children (both under 11).
And if so how much is the charge for them?
Thanks.

Thanks for your message. We don't promote the tour for children as it is more adult content (Oxford murders!) and we have found that children have not usually seen so difficult to hold their interest but if they have seen and you are happy for them to join then the rate would be concession for 2018. For 2019 we have standardised pricing and the cost is the same for all on the tour. Do not hesitate to contact me if I can help further. Best wishes Heidi

Hello,
We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 4 and 2. Can we join the inspector Morse tour? In which language is the tour?
Thanks!

Hi, we will be visiting England in June. I am trying to figure out the bet way to get from where we are staying (Croyden) to Oxford. Specifically where we can pick the Oxford tours up. I've gotten infro from our hotel about options to take rail (national rail) or bus (national express).
#1. Can you all comment on taking these modes of transportation as an option?
#2. Once getting off said mode of transportation, where are we GOING? To hook up with walking tours. Do you book them in advance?
Thanks!
Dina

I am not entirely sure about Croydon to Oxford, probably train. From the train station it is about a 10-20 min stroll into town. The meeting point of my tours will depend which tour you will be taking - private (which can meet anywhere to suit you) or Harry Potter, Simply Oxford, Morse tour or Christ Church tour but once you have sorted the train and the tour type, I will provide walking directions to the start point. Best wishes

Hi and thank you for your email.
Yes, of course. There maybe some limitation but if I know in advance then I plan accordingly. Some college access will be restricted but there are other which might be more suitable. I do hope that is of interest. Please email me any enquiry. Best wishes
