I attended a 3 day symposium at this venue. The architecture is amazing, the building is well maintained with great facilities and spacious nice back garden.

Christmas venue
Dec 2017 • Business
Great venue for a fabulous Christmas party that can accommodate a large number of people. It works really well with 3-4 different reception areas. The catering was average, the service good.

Worth a look
Jan 2016
Built in the late twenties in the colonial (of course) style as the home of the Rhodes Trust, many notable scholars have passed through these doors. Einstein gave three lectures here.

Amazing venue
Sep 2015 • Friends
I went for a wedding this September. The building is incredible and a very subtle mix of styles. The gardens are lovely and we'll planted. Catering was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Recommended.

Glorious venue for a conference or workshop
Jul 2015 • Business
Having snuck in here as an Oxford Science undergraduate over 30 years ago, what an absolute delight to visit this recently for a one day workshop. If you are not inspired to think differently or "give of your best" in this environment, you deserve to be fired or you work in Sales! The rooms are grand, the wifi is good and you can't help to be invigorated or dream big. Catering is also excellent. Parking is poor and the normal nightmare in Oxford.

Dome has stunning mural painted on the ceiling.
Oct 2014
Lovely historic building with amazing mural on the ceiling. Well worth a detour to see this. The same Rhodes who funded the Rhodes Scholarships was the person who provided the funds for this. Its a wonderful example of work of the period.

Fantastic wedding venue!
Aug 2015 • Friends
We attended a wedding reception here in mid August and had a wonderful time.

The venue is stunning. From the champagne & canapés on the lawn to the amazing wedding breakfast, to the bacon burgers & cake in the evening.

Everything was well organised and flowed like clockwork. I have some food allergies & once I made them known, meal choices were amended to accommodate them without any fuss.

The gardens are amazing with fantastic flowers & in the August sunshine it all helped to make a stunning day.

Thank you very much to the beautiful bride & handsome groom for sharing it with us.

Remembering Rhodes
Dec 2014 • Friends
This colonial style building with it's distinctive green dome was built in 1928 in recognition of Cecil Rhodes achievements. He was a former pupil of Oriel College and went on to be a major benefactor of Oxford University. Albert Einstein lectured here in 1931.
Today it is a wedding and conference venue. You pass it on the hop on hop off bus that tours the town. It is just around the corner from the Natural History and Pitt Rivers Museums.

A must see in Oxford
Jun 2014 • Business
Chalked for of more modern history. Historians say it is the place where Albert Einstein first lectured on this theory of relativity. The House has three main rooms in it and gives one a reminder of the value of leaving a legacy.
