We just loved Alabama 3 Friday and this venue is a perfect site to see fairly well known acts in a medium sized forum. Close enough to see faces of those playing with speakers that make the base sounds vibrate from your hair to your...More

Nice small/intimate venue. Fairly central too. The downsides? Extortionate drink prices, nearly £5 for a can of Carlsberg! Having to wait for ten minutes at the bar while a member of staff cleaned, instead of served. Annihilated toilets. Oh... And the fat-headed, humourless doorman who...More

I go here for gigs a lot. However, the prices are outrageous.... £4.80 for a CAN of carlsberg. Not even a full pint. Also the staff kick you out as soon as it ends. If you want to go draw some money out to buy...More

Been to several gigs at O2 academy Oxford but we never learn. The Sherlocks gave a great performance - love them - but they were really let down by the sound. The levels on everything were way out and it was painful. There was an...More

Saw Slade play the 02 Academy last night in the atmosphere deserved by a 70`s band of rocking good musicians. The venue is dark, the sound is great, the floors get wet and the air is steamy. What a great place to Get Down and...More

Security all gathered at the front of the venue, none inside! Felt very unsafe in a crowded club so we left early. Awful place, would not return. Managed to find security manager on the way out who was extremely rude and unhelpful. Horrible horrible man.

Was very much enjoying a concert here with Nelly, although it ended at 10pm instead of the scheduled 11pm??? For £30 was very disappointed by this.

Tickets were cheap - excellent, but that was due to the relatively underground artist we saw. Our tickets and several websites said that doors opened at 6. We were running late, but were aiming for 6-6:30. However, when we got there at 6:40, there were...More

I’ve been going to see bands here since I was 14 (I’m now 20). I’ve never had any trouble but i would suggest maybe picking them up from the car park behind Tesco because the buses aren’t that regular from Cowley road
