Definitely worth a visit, the palace is beautiful, in very good condition , interior artwork and decoration worth a look. The surrounding gardens and lake are impressive. The place is full of history generally focussing on two of the most important people in British History who have both lived there I.e. Winston Churchill and the Dule of Marlborough. Please visit.... Great house, but. A bit pompous, it cost 25 quid to get in the if you want to see the state apartments another fiver, Go to the cafe and pay top dollar for everything including 1.75 for a packet of crisps, price not really shown makes this venue a little expensive combined with guides who insists that you can't walk... What a beautiful building, the grounds are stunning, the only reason im not giving 5/5 is the price, just a bit too expensive i know the money is for the upkeep of the palace and the grounds

I had wanted to visit Blenheim Palace for years, so my daughter and I made a special journey from Derbyshire staying overnight to do so. Firstly the charge to gain admission through the gates is £24.95 PER PERSON. This entitles you to view only a handful of rooms on the ground floor, the garden and the park. After this if... More

A fascinating place to visit. You really need more than one day to enjoy it all. Our state room guide was extremely knowledgeable and told some very amusing anecdotes which helped bring it all to life. Highlight for me was the "Downstairs" tour, which, unlike so many stately homes showed that this is still a fully working palace. Well worth... More

The Blenheim Palace does look magnificent from the distance and it is really big when you look at it. The gardens and the area is nice as well for a walk and you dont need to pay or anything to just wonder around. The visit itself is nice too, you walk through the Winston Churchill exhibition first as he was... More

This was our second visit to Blenheim as we were returning to make use of the annual passes we got last August. We did a tour of the Duke of Marlborough's Private Apartments which was fantastic - you got a real sense of how they live in such palatial surroundings. Lots of lovely photos and art everywhere. As well as... More

We arrived at the Palace as it opened and it was closing as we left. We went on the Upstairs and the Downstairs tours. Visited the The Hidden Story exhibition with its interactive displays, video projects and animatronic characters. Later we took the little steam train to the pleasure gardens, 50p for adults and children under 5 ride free of... More

We have visited Blenheim many times and have never been dissapointed. Our most recent visit yet again gave us a very enjoyable day out. Starting with a coffee in the Oxfordshire pantry and soft drinks for the kids which was nice, although we have found anything more than a drink can be quite expensive. A lovely relaxing walk down to... More
