This took 1.5 hours to walk around and was really good value. We did have good weather, but it might be a bit difficult if it was raining. I am not sure if it would be open if the weather was bad. The staff at Blenheim are all very pleasant and helpful and the "buy one day get a year's... More

Visited as saw adverts saying the house was decorated for Christmas Disappointed There are two Hugh trees in the enterence hall and small tress in some of the rooms but not at all what I expected. I expected lots of Christmas decorations all around the house

As we drove through the gate and saw the beautiful house as a backdrop to the lake we were enchanted. Our first talking point was the amount of pheasants strolling around the car park. We were later told that they had probably worked out they were safer there as it was the hunting season! Entry is expensive but we have... More

Blenheim does everything well and this exhibit is no exception. The lights, music, and beautiful grounds made the Christmas Trail journey very enjoyable indeed. We were delighted to find roasted chestnuts and mulled wine along the trail which then allowed a leisurely and magical view of the fire dances adjacent. I believe it's worthy of a mention, though, that we... More

We live close to Blenheim Palace and have a yearly pass. We love the palace and grounds itself so thought we would visit the Christmas light show .... the initial cost was £16 pp plus park and ride at £5. Once there there is a variety of food and drink stalls which will cost what you would expect. We were... More

Went for the Christmas lights and walk. Not for the infirm or elderly as very dark and uneven floors but a fabulous display of lights with a great atmosphere. Stopped for mulled wine and chestnuts in the way round....a must do

1) The Christmas light trail is very pretty. Too long a walk ( 1-1.5 hours) for small children and not really something they could appreciate. Lots of wailing children on Sunday evening when I went. Some stunning displays, the waterfall for example, others slightly pagan. 2) £25 for entrance to the building is ridiculous. Get it for £8 ish with... More

We had an incredible experience at Blenheim Palace. The palace is absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to catch the Michelangelo Pistoletto exhibition being held throughout the palace. The modern art was incorporated into the historical setting of the palace which was a joy to explore. It was freezing when we visited in October but it didn't bother us... More

Had a brilliant evening exploring the Lights Trial. Took 1 hour and 40 minutes and enjoyed every minute of it. As we walked it was amazing with the way the trees were lit and it looked so magical, didn't know what we were going to see next. The paths were well lit and plenty of staff were scattered about, everyone... More
