The Oxfordshire Museum is a fabulous day out. The small buliding covers the history of Oxfordshire and it is fascinating and free. The pay for bit currently has a fantastic war exhibition including a royal navy boat, glider and a World War One trench. I...More

This initially appears to be a small museum but there is a surprising amount of interesting exhibits with a nice gift shop and cafe. We were visiting with a toddler who was able to walk around the room and explore safely. Bit tricky getting everywhere...More

Housed in a beautiful old Cotswold stone building in Woodstock. Kids enjoy the hands on science in one of the rooms and the old fashioned toys and clothes. Lovely cafe and garden. You can occasionally park just outside.

We had some time to spare on our visit to Woodstock and discovered the museum on a walk around the village. We were surprised to find so much to see inside. It's set up to cater to kids and education, but definitely will appeal to...More

This charming little museum is well worth a visit. I didn't go out into the beautiful garden but I could see from the windows how lovely it was. The displays are small but interesting and I enjoyed my visit very much

We visited Woodstock on a sentimental trip as we used to come here over 40 years ago as we lived locally. Not much has changed. The museum was built a glass atrium on the front to include the cafe since our day which is a...More
