Impressively expanded train station has certainly made the general commute to London. Will be interesting how the station copes with the opening of cross rail. Parking prices however are rather steep and need some adjusting.

I did not plan on using Reading station however due to my original cancelled train this station was part of my alternative route. It was a stress free experience with lots of staff to help, convenient lifts and clean throughout this massive station.

The title really sums it up. Lots of information boards, indoor, relatively warm seating, a number of eateries, and doesn't feel crowded even at busy times. Very accessible with lifts and escalators.

On a weekday I would pretty much guarantee it, at the weekend you'll probably have to ring for one, but Uber also operates in Reading.

It's less than half a mile, so 10 minutes should be plenty of time
