The car park is a fair distance from the main attraction here (the amphitheater) Although the amount of ruins that are still around to see is not huge, there is only bits of the wall and the remains of the amphitheater, it is well worth...More

I walked from the town centre to visit late morning, but it was locked up with no sign of life. I could find nothing to indicate opening times or even if it would open again.

I've lived in Reading for over 5 years now and the ruins have never been open. You can walk around the outer wall which is several feet high but you won't see much of what is inside sadly. Closed for repairs for years.

I saw the ruins many years ago and was surprised to find today it all closed up. Due to safety fears you cannot get into the site. I walked around it and you can see something, but not the same.
