I live a couple of minutes walk from CSC and I adore this venue. We held a birthday party (for 3 of us) there last night and it was an incredible evening. Everyone commented on how great the space was and perfect for a big party with dancing. We had a ceilidh band and then a disco. Maurice who runs the club is brilliant. Great communication and really friendly. The staff behind the bar were fabulous and they even helped clear up at the end of the night. I honestly can’t recommend highly enough.

The staff and Manager at the club are really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time. It is a really great club with lots of fantastic entertainment every week.

Celebrated my daughter’s 21st there at the weekend. Steward & bar staff made sure everything went smoothly. From booking the venue to the evening. Food was warmed up, laid out ready when we needed it! We all had a wonderful evening- thank you :)

We were there to do a Burlesque Chair Dance show. The facilities were very good, a large room to change in, with toilets right next door. The stage was a really good size and also the room for the audience was an excellent size with connecting toilets. The bar was a good size with a nice seating area. A lovely outdoor area and a fair size car park. Altogether a great place to put on a show.

I use the premises 3 times a week, the club is a very welcoming and versatile venue. Highly recommended, small rooms and VERY LARGE available lol.

What a wonderful, friendly place! We received the warmest of welcomes from Maurice and staff from the moment we walked through the door.
My daughter and son - in - law hosted their wedding celebrations here and nothing was too much trouble from beginning to end, Maurice could not have been more helpful, so much patience! A great space for an event, guests of all ages have commented on the lovely atmosphere and kindness and respect they were shown, so many warm smiles!
Excellent, can't recommend it highly enough.
A day to be remembered, looking forward to our next visit.

What a great, friendly venue! We hosted an event in the lounge there and it was spacious, comfortable, easy going and had a good selection of drinks at the bar. Really nice old school vibe. Totally recommend it.

My Anglo / French band played at Sheffield's Crookes Social club last night, on our UK tour.
It's such a great place. Maurice and all the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of good local restaurants and takeaways.
Our gig at the club was a real pleasure. Lots of local support on a Wednesday night. The excellent period dance floor was put to very good use, and we all went away buzzing and happy after a brilliant night.
Long live Crookes Club!

We had our daughters christening here and couldn’t recommend it enough. Maurice made sure all our requests were met and all my many questions answered, he gave lots of advice on catering and bouncy castles ect. Luke and Kitty who worked behind the bar on the day were so friendly and polite and our guests commented on how nice they were. Luke helped us set up the buffet and music and carried things in that we needed. The venue was clean and tidy and very welcoming. Thank you
