Me and my partner came to check out the First Contact room and weren't disappointed. The team there clearly take great pride in their job and rooms. Our gamemaster Keaton was a delight, ask for him when you're in.

We did the Afterlife escape room and found it to be suitably challenging and varied for this group of designers, web professionals and translators - there was no handholding or obvious pointers, which made us feel clever at working stuff out, and we had to work together to get all the clues and figure out what to do, which was highly satisfying. The other escape room we went to a few years back (now closed) was not nearly as good as this one and kind of put me off, but I am now up for going again. There were 5 of us which we were told was a good number for this room. The props were all of decent quality and well thought-out, and the rooms were excellently set up with plenty to look at and lots of sensory stuff, different textures and lights/sounds. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back to do First Contact at some point! Our game master, Keaton, was very friendly and I'm not sure he's cut out to be death's intern for this reason but maybe death wants a cheery face around the office and he's the man for the job (Or maybe his Death is the one from Sandman).

Keaton was our games master, he was very friendly and welcoming, as we as a good sense of humour. The ro was one of the best escape rooms I've done! Really fantastic experience and run by lovely people. Strongly recommend!

What a great experience this escape room was. I took the kids (9, 11,13) and was pretty unsure how we would manage. It was BRILLIANT. There were enough clues that we could work out and the staff were fantastic at giving exactly the right amount of help when we were stuck (which we were quite a lot!) The game had a mix of different sorts of locks and clues, the decor was brilliant and the props excellent. If I'd gone with a group of adults we'd have been suitably stretched. All in all a great trip out that surpassed my expectations with incredibly friendly staff who accommodated the group needs fantastically. Thank you very much.

We adventured here as quite a last minute trip as a 3. We took on First Contact, now we don't usually seem to do well in Space but that does man we don't love trying. Our host Jonathan was amazing from start to finish. He was so welcoming and gave us perfectly timed help along the way when we needed it. He was also great to chat to at the end. The game itself was equally good and kept us busy for the whole hour. What is not to love. Thanks again, we look forward to returning to play the other games soon.

Cryptology was our first escape room, thought it was great fun and would thoroughly recommend. Afterlife was a real exhilarating challenge, one that as a team of 2 were successful getting our souls back!!! Don’t let it put off couples and teams of 2 trying this experience as it was easily doable.

My partner and I travelled to Cryptology escape rooms, Sheffield, for an afternoon out, to try something different. What a brilliant time we had! OK, finding the place was a little tricky but we got their in the end, with help from the very friendly team at cryptology. We Chose to go here for the day for a few reasons. the first reason is that because my partner and I have Autism etc, and I wanted to her to experience an escape room to work out the clues and encourage her to use her full potential. We played the "the mysterious case of Hugh Dunnit!". very funny title :) the second reason is I wanted to test her skills out on these games and I wanted to see how she would get on, if she would understand it all and work out the clues. She did BRILLIANTLY! even for me in the beginning it was tough as to where to start the game! But after about 10 minutes we started to work together as a team and solve the case. She did very well and dare I say it; she worked out the clues quicker than I did! :) So yes we enjoyed and would definitely come back and do another room. Staff very friendly, funny too; very helpful when your stuck on a question or clue and finally the place was very clean AND we got write our names on the door frames that other people have signed. photos below. thank you so much for a great afternoon out Cryptology escape rooms!

Was gifted a room for my 30th birthday, and what a time we had, my wife and I loved it. Brilliant room, very immersive theming, decent range of puzzle types. The gamesmaster Robin was great, very attentive with clues and very theatrical!

I played Afterlife with a friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great mix of puzzle types to solve, immersive spaces to explore, and lots of fun had! Our GM Robyn was fantastic with a great intro and close, incorporating parts of our day we’d told them about before starting the game which was fun.

Had a great experience for my son's birthday, we did the Murder/Mystery of Hugh Dunnit & was really good fun As a family, this experience had us all working as a team to solve the Mystery & find the killer! Lovely host, great props & clues & very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.
