I really liked my beer from Thornbridge Brewery- it was one I hadn't tried before. Also a fan of the beer garden which was much bigger than it seemed it would be from the little staircase that led to it. The star off is because-...More

This was the first time I've visited this pub for a while. No issues with the beer or how it's kept (Thornbridge - nothing special), but have to bring up the attitude of the barman. This was a quite afternoon, a total of eight people...More

Me and a few friends came here for my friends birthday to have their Sunday roast. The service was great and the venue is really lovely however the food really isn't great. They try their best to make the dishes sound posh and sophisticated on...More

Have visited here on a couple of occasions. The first time the barrel ran out half way through pouring the pint and the barman topped up with the dregs they pull off at the end! My second visit in March 2018, ordering a pint of...More

Great place to come for a beer and a chat with friends. Although often very busy, it's not too busy so that you can't move. All the beer is fantastic. Come in often and once saw really cool rock'n'roll band on. Always a great night,...More

In a year of living in Sheffield, the only time I had ever visited this part of town was to go to The Closed Shop, just across the road from The Hallamshire House. As such, I did not actually get a chance to visit “The...More

The barman was really friendly and knew his stuff, including the legal amount for a pint of beer. This place is great.

Great beer selection and always in good nick. The manager, Tom, is a belting chap. Try the secret chutneys with a pie! Great views of Sheffield out the back window. Full size snooker table in the back too.

Big Thanks Dom! That's very kind of you, cheers! Always welcome for a pint, the chutneys are brilliant too. They are made by a regular of ours and can be purchased either at the bar or at The Bhaji Café down near Neepsend! Big thanks!
