About
A visit to Crystal Peaks is more than a trip to the shops. Of course, it's easy to pop in and pick up your groceries and everyday essentials. But you'll also find the latest fashions, gifts, entertainment and more, with plenty of choice at the Food Hub too. We've over 100 independent stalls in our covered marketplace, as well as big name stores in our retail park and shopping mall. And because we're part of the local community, you'll even find a library, medical centre, veterinary clinic and a health club too. Parking is FREE and we have our own bus interchange and Supertram stop.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visit Crystal Peaks regular to shop, wife likes the Sainsbury’s, however yesterday’s shop turned out badly , I lost my car keys, however I reported it to the Centre and today got the phone call I had hoped for.

Thank you very much to the unknown finder and also to your staff.

When you read these reviews it’s easy to add negative comments if you feel upset about something, however that can happen everywhere at times, we find Crystal Peaks has what we need to shop and plenty of FREE parking.
My particular favourite Morley’s Butchers plus a wide choice of all sorts of Cafe Food.

Between Crystal Peaks on the lower levels, and the Drakehouse Retail Park on the higher level, there is everything you need in such an easily accessible location, and with absolutely loads of parking spaces. If it's food you want there are restaurants and pubs nearby, and McD's, KFC and Pizza Hut, Subway, Love Coffee, etc, etc. Shopping?? Then there's M&S, Wilkinson's, Next, Sainsburys, and so on, with an excellent indoor market. HOWEVER! Beware of the stupid parking restrictions!!! If you park on the top (Drakehouse) level, to look in the excellent stores (Halfords, Home base, Poundstretcher, Oakfurnitureland) then be aware that your time is limited, and you cannot leave that site and leave your car there! Thinking that it's all one complex and you can park there and then go to shop lower level could well see you with an expensive parking fine!!! This restriction has only just been introduced in the last month or so, and no doubt there'll be repercussions when the car park wardens start handing out tickets!!!

Appalling prejudice and Discrimination to those who can not wear face covering. Staff aggressively and Rudely demanded to see proof of my health condition and refused to serve unless provided "papers/exemption" which I am not legally required to carry. Shocking and shameful - awful staff.

I would rate this below but unfortunately can't, My daughter was really excited has she got herself a trail shift. In doing the 2 hours trail she was advised that the money she was told above before she would no longer get due to the £30 fee for the costumer hire which meant she owned them £2. They advised her that it would be fine has they would call her the following day to give her more shifts. This is not the case. She was really looking forward to having her first job and a little money in her pocket which she earned. In contacting to find out regarding the calls just keep getting dropped. So it looks like its just free labour at the prices are stupid for the gifts received. Very poor management and greedy by them running the operation. I'm going to tell all my family, friends and others to stay well clear.

I called into Boots at Crystal Peaks shopping centre today and purchased an item on my debit card for £11. The cashier refused to give me my receipt, she said something about a problem with the till. I demanded a receipt, she still wouldn't give me one and looked at me as if I wasn't right in the head. I asked her what if I got stopped by security and accused of shoplifting so she replied, "well you would have to come back into store and I would tell them you'd paid".

Needless to say I won't ever step foot in that shop again. They have lost a customer. The customer service was shocking !!!! She was too lazy to print me of a receipt. Keep away from this branch if you require a receipt because you won't get one. I will be shopping at Superdrug for my toiletries. Atleast they give out receipts.

Don’t bother if you are driving and have a baby. There are very few parent and child spaces and I saw several people park there without children as I was driving round trying to find a space where I could safely get my young baby out of the car. Better off going to Meadowhall where there are plenty of wide parent and child spaces and a proper system in place to prevent others from parking there

We were charged for 3 happy meals and had only ordered one. Cheese burgers were ordered only with tomato sauce but were covered in mustard instead. The capucino was cold. My wrap was cold. Normally food not too bad but today was a disaster. Youth on till didn't know what to do. Thankfully duty manager refunded the £5.50 overcharge.

We visited this sprawling shopping centre and retail park on the outskirts of Sheffield for the express purpose of having breakfast at the newly-opened Tim Hortons outlet, located on the perimeter of this shopping complex. Being lovers of Timmies from numerous trips to Canada, we had a great breakfast along with fine coffee. I’ll review that experience separately, once it’s listed on TripAdvisor.

Then we ventured into the shopping complex. Oh dear! This has to be one of the most soulless, uninspiring, unattractive and dreary shopping centres I’ve ever been to. It has the bog-standard collection of stores found on any high street, in a completely colourless and unappealing undercover setting. If you need Boots or Wiko by all means visit, but if you’re looking for something different or special or high end , this will probably not be the spot for you. There’s a decent M and S food hall in the wider retail centre, and very large TKMAX. The retail park spreads over quite a large area with a bit of a confusing road system (we were first time visitors). Next time, we’ll just stick to Tim Hortons!

I've lived in the local area for 20 years. I used to work at the sainsbury's. Both the small and new large one. I remember years ago when crystal peaks had every shop open. Now though the amount of shop fronts that are closed down. And everything else is bloody awful. It looks run down. Your in luck if you want a pound shop. A cash converters debt maker. Bright side or a new phone. There are 6 phone shops. Love the variety. Started to get an influx of East Europeans as well. Make sure your pocket isn't pickable.
