Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely little visit yesterday. I had seen this place on a list of free things to with children over the summer holidays. So glad we visited. It’s a lovely little place. It’s not what you expect when you get there with the parking etc but don’t be put off by this. Loved seeing the goats, sheep and pigs. Loved the gardens as well with all the vegetables and you could walk around it all. The garden centre and shop was cute too. Some beautiful flowers in there.

Nice little outing for a toddler and granny! Giddy goats, clucking chickens, snorting pigs and paddling ducks all added to the fun.

Excellent place to visit, lots to see, from the beautifully kept vegetable gardens to the calves and ponies. Great cafe with vegan food, very friendly and helpful staff, well worth a visit.
We had our first visit this morning, very impressed and recommend taking the children, or just go on your own. It's a really nice way to get a feel for nature. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Roadside parking and a couple of disable parking. I was.surprised at how run down everywhere was. Overgrown gardens and shabby out buildings. Its free entry and theres plenty of wash stations. The ponds were green and dirty which was a bit worrying for the ducks etc. Good range of healthy plants and local honey for sale. Spent about an hour here not much to see or do its a real shame.maybe needs a volunteer recruitment?

Excellent for younger children and know ds who like animals, to free to go round, although they are asking for donations that go towards food and animal care. When you finish in there, just a bit further down the road there's several shops to visit if you want

Free parking and free entrance. But I suggest that you give a donation, it is a charity after all. Lots of farm animals to see. Pigs, goats, chickens and ducks then rabbits and guinea pigs , I could go on. We saw a baby goat only a couple of hours old.
There is a very nice cafe with delicious hot and cold foods, we have lunch there regularly.
Then there is the plant shop. Lots of plants and herbs for sale and bags of manure of course.

We came here with the grandkids, but could just as well have enjoyed ourselves without them. Animals and a delicious coffee shop – what more could you want?

Heeley farm is nestled in the middle of an urban area, surrounded by housing, it is a little oasis in the hustle and bustle of daily life. It has many animals and birds from goats to horses and ducks . chickens etc... Well worth a visit and free as well !! Donations can be left in the collection boxes.. It has a small nursery where plants foliage and flowers can be bought at resonable prices. It also has a children's play area with various activity frames and slides etc,, The cafe on site is vegitarian , dont let that put you off , the sandwhiches are excellent...All in all definately worth a visit your kids will love it...and you !!.

I have two small children. Both love it here. The play area, cafe and some of the smaller animals are in an enclosed space, which allows the kids a bit of freedom to wander without being able to access the road. There are lots of animals and the volunteers are always keen to chat. The cafe serves really reasonably priced and tasty food. We have been coming here for years and I will be sad when the kids are too old for it!
