Went her to finish off our passport we purchased last year when we visited blist victorian village. Good insight into the coalport pottery and China . Glad we had the passport as I didn't think it was worth 9.75 for a visit

We visited on a cold day and will return when it is warmer. Allow a couple of hours for a detailed look at the history and the importance to the area, along with the other Ironbridge Museums. Some walking outdoors so not best during winter.

Coalport is one of the most famous names in fine china and porcelain. In this museum you will see one of the largest and finest collections of porcelain in the world. Displays and demonstrations bring the history and techniques of china making to life. The distinctive bottle-shaped chimneys of the two surviving bottle ovens are impressive as is the huge... More

Not everyone is entertained by lots of different styles of china in glass cases - even if they recognise some of the styles as grandma's precious "best" china. However, there is more than this on offer here. It is just a short way from Blists Hill and you can use the same parking ticket on the same day at both.... More

Went to this lovely museum today. Interesting to see how the glass is blown and also how the China is made and both were made more interesting by the talk given by the staff.can highly recommend this brilliant museum.

Being a member of the Ironbridge pass system and having visited previously and had a wonderful tour, I took my sister in law when visiting me recently. What a disappointment! She had to pay the full entrance fee, no problem, but when we went into the various workshops there were no demonstrations at all. We met one lady who could... More

A great place to visit, very interesting, but not suitable for dogs. My pit bull nearly ran amock. He gets upset when things are very still. Go without your dog and you'll be fine.
