Read about this prior to going to Ludlow and it sounded interesting. Eventually found it, very poor signage to it, only to find that it was only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It seems Ludlow does not expect visitors midweek!!

The museum is located in the upper floor of the historic Buttercross. You enter through a door in the opposite side of the alley behind the Buttercross. Exhibits go from the prehistory of the area through to the 20th century.
