My trip here was something I have wanted to do for a long time, should have done it when I was younger, however, made our way slowly round all of the follies, with lots of rests, inside the caves was bliss on such a hot...More

If you are able bodied and looking for somewhere to spend two or three hours walking and exploring, this is a wonderful experience. A large variety of trees and plants, interesting follies and fun features, superb views from many parts of the park and plenty...More

The park was lovely, plenty of shade and caves to cool off in as very hot when we visited. Restaurant service was indifferent, several additional items we requested were not forthcoming, not unreasonable to ask for the dog water bowls to be filled considering how...More

Hawkstone is a beautiful place to walk around. It has caves, some climbing, beautiful scenery and a cafe, although this lacks some basics amenities and sometimes the scones and teacakes are not always fresh. The baguettes were though. Not all the walk is suitable for push...More

This review is not about the Hawkstone Follies, but about the first ever open air music festival, Hawkstone Follies Fest. Tickets for this event were expensive - we paid £83 for 4 people - which might explain the small number of people. We went on...More

You have to be pretty fit for this journey up the hill, nothing prepares you for this at reception except to say ‘it can take 3 hours, but there is a short-cut’. ! The steps are very steep and the map provided didn’t show a...More

Spent nearly five hours exploring here. Lots to see, friendly staff on entrance and reasonably priced. Take torches for the caves, tunnels, and the grotto. Unsuitable for pushchairs or those with mobility problems. Sturdy footwear required. Very enjoyable!

sorry, bit late. There's a Cafe near the entrance, but think it may refuse entry to dogs. We didn't take ours. Don't think there are many covered areas.
