To anyone, especially from outside of the county, or the country for that matter, if you're ever in Shrewsbury, take the time out to come up here. There are three walking trails and a bike trail. I've not been on either the Red or Blue routes that are a steep climb, I'm told. The Yellow "easy" route, is an enjoyable... More

A beautiful setting for a family walk. A bit muddy at this time of year. Ideal for families or dog walkers. Lots of parking.

Choice of several well marked walks depending on your time and energy. Culminates in a panoramic view across the Shropshire hills. Finish your walk with a bacon and egg roll and coffee at the cafe. Be aware car parking charges during summer months but only £1.00. Well worth it. Great mountain bike trail as well.

I love this walk!! I take my dogs at least 3 times a week.. if you pay £25 for the year the parking is free and you get 20% discount on the food, money paid goes towards the forestry commission. I love that there are many different types of walks and it's great to take the kids to discover nature... More

We live 2 miles from Haughmond Hill and visit regularly. A number of well signed walks cater for all levels of ability and paths weather well. Car park can become very busy at popular times but usually you can find a space. Good cafe with bacon butties recommended after a brisk walk.

I visited here in October 2016, the walk and views are lovely. There is also a small cafe providing drinks and basic snacks near the entrance to the car park. Good for dog walkers too. My only criticism would be that the longer walk (there is a choice of three signposted walk) - was not well signposted and I ended... More

We go very regularly to go for an hour's walk at Haughmond Hill. Also like to use the CAFE. However, that very often is not possible due to the very limited opening hours.

having never visited here before was looking forward to a brisk walk, wasnt disappointed, all four trails lead to the wonderful view. being used to walking up mountains in Wales, found Haughmond hill to be a pleasant stroll and well within even the scope of young and more mature walker. nice cup of coffee at the cafe after, friendly staff....
