having never visited here before was looking forward to a brisk walk, wasnt disappointed, all four trails lead to the wonderful view. being used to walking up mountains in Wales, found Haughmond hill to be a pleasant stroll and well within even the scope of young and more mature walker. nice cup of coffee at the cafe after, friendly staff.... Visited today and had a lovely time. Easy cheap parking, a choice of routes, great visitor centre with cafe and best of all really friendly people. Did not see that dog poo was an issue as with other reviews as plenty of signs and bins around the routes. Can't wait to return

Lovely place to walk at any time of year with wonderful views from the top. A little tea cabin for refreshments and a " Stick Man Trail " for the little ones. There is a path that is accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs etc. Various walks of differing lengths.

I chose a beautiful October day to re-visit Haughmond Hill after an absence of 8 years. I did the blue trail (Wilfred's Walk) which gives stunning views of the Wrekin and then later Shrewsbury, Wenlock Edge, the Long Mynd and, away in the distance, the Breidden Hills. I parked in Uffington and followed part of the Shropshire Way before taking... More

Well signposted walks of different lengths through Forestry Commission land. A great place to take children or dogs. Car park charge £1, not extortionate.

We recently visited this beautiful spot and after our long walk (did 3 walks) we decided to patronise the cafe. The cafe gave the inpression it was open but, on enetering there were boxes over the floor. We thought this part of the cafe may not be open and therefore, we willing to go outside to the kiosk. A lady... More

Met up with friends here. It was a damp day but most of the paths are hard standing so it was still a nice walk. The stickman trail was very interesting but £3 for the pack seemed a little on the expensive side. Cafe was ok, we only had ice-creams'.

Visited yesterday to do stickman trail and were not dissapointed had a lovely walk with an excited three year old and also had a baby in pushchair, the whole route was totally accesable and it was a great set up,the only downside was some inconsiderate dog owners had not seen fit to clean up mess, and perhaps the whole of that particular... Sorry about one of the loos being out of order, replacing the doors has been complicated by accommodating holidays etc. More
