I explored Bath today as a "tourist" with Simon from "Photo Tours of Bath" What an enjoyable and amazing experience. Camera in hand I met Simon 9am, and from then on we walked, talked, and photographed the history of Bath. Simon knows Bath inside out as well as bits of gossip from years gone by!! Whether a tourist or a local, I am local take your camera and join Simon, and if you don't have a camera he will even take the photos for you with what I considered a very reasonable charge, so you go home with a whole bunch of memories of a really brilliant time.

With Simon, you will get a tour guide who knows every window, ally, street, and building in Bath. Plus, you will get someone passionate about the city, its history, and its culture. On top of this, you will find an expert artist/photographer who can take your photography skills into an entirely new dimension. My time with him was outstanding.

Simon was a great tour guide. And Bath is a very photogenic city, even in the rain (-: We met Simon in Queens Square where he gave us a bit of history of the city and a map of some of the places we may be visiting. And then we walked around the City, taking in some of the key (and most scenic) sights. He goes at your pace, not rushing and was full of interesting facts and stories about the City. He was very flexible, adjusting our start time because of bad weather. And was also really helping out in finding great places for lunch, coffee etc.

Best tour I’ve done. Simon, the guide and photographer, had a great knowledge of Bath’s history. Best part was the photography tip, especially editing and adding effects to your photos with snapseed. You’re continued despite some drizzle, allowing some great reflection pics from puddles. This tour is worth every cent.

Simon was so helpful to not only communicate quickly but also accommodate our schedule last minute. He really explained many historical aspects of this town. The photo tips were wonderful as well. I will come away with Bath photography as my best results from this vacation.

My husband, our teen daughter and I toured with Simon Christie. Simon gave us the most amazing inside view of Bath and engaged our teen with great photography ideas. She was fully connected and it brought history & current Bath alive for all of us. Simon was fun, friendly and smart. We have taken many guided tours over the years and we would rate Simon at the top of the list. Bring your camera and prepare to fall in love with Bath.

We highly recommend Simon's tour regardless of your experience level with photography! Simon is humorous, informative, and takes great care to tailor the tour to your needs and points of interest. We got to experience Bath at remarkably different angles--both literally with our photos and intellectually with Simon's historical facts--than if we had toured Bath as other tourists did. Simon shows you the hidden gems of views, and you can tell they're 'hidden' because we'd be the only ones taking photos there. And the photos turned out great!

Excellent experience a very well presented tour and Simon was very knowledgeable about the area and the history. A really enjoyable tour I would definitely recommend Simon to anyone of any photographic ability looking for a photography tour around bath it was a very pleasant and informative morning

Simon is very knowledgeable on the history and architecture of Bath. We visited many popular and also off the beaten track locations with suggestions for photo composition. As first time visitors to Bath it was also an excellent orientation. We would thoroughly recommend.

Simon is an excellent photo tour guide. He would also be an excellent guide if you just have an iPhone and want to learn the history of Bath by walking along historic streets, paths and hidden alleys. His knowledge of Bath's history, architecture and colourful characters from the past made our tour memorable.
