Our first time at Wadswick on their Shooting Simulator. Outstanding fun and great info on your shooting. We went along to see where we could make any improvements in our shooting. You can get lots of feedback on the path you take mounting the gun to the point of shooting. You get to see if you’re in front, behind, over the top or under. Clay disciplines or Game simulation are available. All in a lovely environment. The store is extremely well stocked with lots of clothing, both shooting and equestrian. We are a family of five, the children aged 17, 15 and 13 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructor was knowledgeable, friendly and tailored the session to suit varying abilities; he was also able to accommodate for a left-handed member of our family. The analysis the simulator was able to offer was helpful in showing us where we were going wrong so we could correct it. Helpful, loads of fun and left us with a definite sense of achievement! We just had a great couple of hours in the simulator. It’s a lovely room and makes it all very social. There were five of us and we all had plenty of time each with the gun (till our arms were shaky!). Our instructor was the lovely Lara, fun, relaxed, knowledgeable and tailored her instruction to each of us based on what we were doing right and wrong. She dealt with our various afflictions well (including one of us who, it turns out, can’t shut her left eye!). We ended the session with a little competition. The shooting simulator itself is original, challenging and really good fun. With real guns and a charismatic ex SAS host it doesn’t get better than this. Miss a shot do a shot... the bar staff also looked after us brilliantly and the food was exceptional. A huge thanks to all involved from all 26 of us.…
