My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place by accident on Friday evening and so glad we did! Really quirky place, it was like we just stepped into a house party as the room was basically a large living room in a house. The live music was excellent and the guy took requests which was really fun as by the end of the night the whole room were singing along too. The staff were super friendly and worked extremely hard! Such a good vibe and really special place - it made our weekend ! Cant recommend it enough! Thank you :)

My friend and I are regulars at TDR and it's the dictionary definition of a hidden gem. I absolutely love the aesthetic and quirkiness of the place; it always feels cosy and welcoming. The staff are all super friendly but Lisa in particular is very cool and fun. She always takes the time chat with us and makes us feel like her favourite customers.
TDR is an absolute joy and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy nightlife experience in the heart of Bath.

Myself and my date happened to be walking past one Friday evening and heard the most incredible voice from one of the windows above the street. We ventured further and we were invited up into the bar where we were met by George serenading the small and intimate crowd on his piano. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was the best night I’ve had in a very long time. Bring a friend, a date or your mother and I guarantee you will have an amazing time! Thank you to TDR for making my evening a very special one. I will be visiting again soon.

The Drawing Rooms is Bath's hidden gem. Tucked away in a little alley behind a nonchalant door, I found beautiful live music, fantastic wine and delicious cheese. This is a must visit for a sophisticated, quintessentially Bath night with friends or with your partner. The owner Tom was incredibly welcoming and entertained us all night!

TL; DR: GO GO GO! Why are you even reading the rest of this?
I discovered this place by accident while visiting Bath. My party and I were looking for an after-dinner tipple and followed the music, literally. Although we are not members of this establishment, we happened to be lucky as it was an open night for all customers. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and very efficient. The place in its own right comprises of 20s/30s style décor and features paintings by local artists on the walls. There was a live concert by a gifted piano player who was belting out rock and roll tunes until 11.30 pm. Their cocktails are delicious; so much so that one of our party lost their belongings on Friday night! However, after contacting the owner, we were able to retrieve all of their money, cards etc without any hassle.
If I were to visit Bath again, I would absolutely return!

Amazing hidden gem! Couldn’t recommend the drawing rooms more. Went on a Friday night with a group of friends and the vibe was lovely! Live music is something I think everyone’s missed over the past months and this is something that makes the drawing rooms stand out with their amazing piano player. Drinks also lovely and reasonably priced too! Would highly recommend.

Although we didn’t end up choosing this venue, an enquiry was made for a large (18person) group booking. Tom couldn’t have been more helpful when requesting quotes for a cocktail making masterclass; he provided all the required information & answered all my questions promptly, directly & in a friendly manner. I felt like nothing was too much and they were prepared to take the time to work around all our requirements/requests.

I’m a new member of The Drawing Rooms and could not be happier, Tom, Nina and the team are very welcoming. The coffee is the best in Bath and he surroundings have the feel of a cosy members club with all the modern facilities required to conduct meetings and events during the day.
I’m yet to sample one of the evening events held here, but I’ve no doubt that they are a roaring success.

Went out looking for something to do on a rainy Sunday whilst visiting Bath and followed some music to stumble across the Drawing Rooms, 'down a dark alley' as they say. Adding to the speakeasy vibe, we had needed to ring up and get buzzed in, but it was just a normal door (no fridges or what have you).
Once up the stairs, it was like we'd stumbled on a very cool house party. The vibe is definitely a carefully curated shabby chic, probably a lot of effort went into the eclectic decor and the visuals. We noted that this actually a members club, but we found it to be totally un-arrogant and no-one asked us to 'please leave', instead we were welcomed by the genial Reuben.
One thing that wasn't shabby was the wine list, a really nice choice was available. The cocktail list was mostly the usual classics, but some house specials awaited - perhaps if hadn't been Sunday...
We got chatting with a very tall gentleman at the bar who told us it was open mike night, which was the music we had heard, though the yodeling seemed to have stopped. The level of talent was pretty good, with the eccentric host Lawrie keeping everything moving jovially along and jumping in on some songs. One young chap called Luke de Sciscio was especially good, I might be able to say I saw him in Bath one rainy Sunday when he's headlining Glastonbury!

We stumbled across the Drawing Rooms on arrival in Bath and what a find it turned out to be! A delightful, quirky and charming bar, with a piano bar area and a larger lounge area with an eclectic mix of decor and furniture. We were greeted by the welcoming smile of Reuben who was the most gracious host. We discussed the cocktails and he offered helpful advice in our selection. His demonstrated his expertise by asking us about what we were looking for In our cocktails and then delivered our choices superbly. Perfectly made with real style. We then had a lovely chat with him and what a lovely young man he was. Intelligent, interesting and a good listener, a great host. We’ll be back!
We would like thoroughly recommend a visit. They have a piano player later in the evening and had we not booked a meal elsewhere, we would have loved to have stayed.
