About
A genuinely free service (tips are NOT accepted) providing walking tours around Bath. Received Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2014. Tours take place every day of the year except Christmas Day. Start times: Monday - Friday 10:30 and 14:00/ Saturday 10:30 only/ Sunday 10:30 and 14:00. Tours include the main sights in the city centre - Abbey Church Yard, Baths, Queen Square, Royal Crescent, Circus etc. All tours leave from outside the entrance to the Roman Baths and the Pump Room in Abbey Church Yard and last approximately two hours.

Peter was one of the best guides we have ever had, and believe me that is quite a few! This tour was informative, interesting and fun. At about 2 hours in length starting by the Roman Baths and returning there it was the right amount of time. Thank you Peter.

Our guide was Andrew, we’ve loved the tour as it goes by. It’s nice to have a chance to learn about the architecture and history of Bath. we wouldn’t know about if we would just walk around by ourselves. I’ll definitely recommend this tour for my friends to join when they’ll visit. Thank you for the experience Andrew, we appreciate it :)

Our guide Andrew was amazing.! :) He was enthusiastic about Bath’s history and shared it with us in a detailed way. We’ve learned so many things about Bath and its history during two hours of walking journey. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. You won't regret it!

An excellent way to learn a bit about Bath

Our tour guide Andrew was enthusiastic and engaging, it was lovely to learn about bath and it's striking architecture. Andrew tailored the information shared according to his audience, who were a mix of nationalities. We extended our time in bath in order to do the walking tour and I wasn't disappointed.

The tour was simply fantastic, from start to end. Adrian was brilliant. Incredibly engaging, open to any and all questions and very welcoming. This tour, which was genuinely free, blew every other walking tour i have been on our of the water. This won the gold medals of both the tour and the tour guide. Even when our tour was interrupted by a protest, Adrian handled us all very well, safely and kept us engaged.

Fallen in love with Bath and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you.

Wonderful walking tour through living world heritage

I would like to start with a specific thank you to Mr. Mike C who was our group's honorary guide. His storytelling was informative and brought the city's history to life in an interesting way for the entire tour duration. It was a large group in late July, but the weather cooperated, there was shade to stand in for many of the stops, and he also found some places to sit for some of the older guests in the group while we walked through Bath.

I can't recommend this tour enough, one of the best walking tours I have taken in Europe, and tips were offered, but not accepted, so it is truly a free, educational experience. Make time to take this walking tour, and you won't be disappointed.

Learn all about Bath!

We went to Bath for a shopping day but after wandering around for a bit saw the sign for these tours and decided to go on one - so glad we did, it made our day and we learnt so much about the city and it's history. The guides are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. Tour took about 2 and a half hours, the time passed quickly and we saw places we would never have gone on our own. It's nice that they don't charge, and tips are not allowed although deserved. Would definitely recommend.
