    Informative Experience
Really enjoyable experience whilst learning lots about the historical importance of the baths and the Romans impact to the area. The audio tour was very interesting and engaging as part of the walk through with lots to see and learn. Overall we walked around for around 2 and half hours and you must try the spa water at the end (not from the springs!).
Hi Dominic. We're really pleased that you found the audioguide interesting and engaging. Trying the spa water is a great way to end the visit, it is certainly an acquired taste!

    Beautiful history / Clever Romans!
Very well done all round. Providing loads of interesting facts about the Romans and their way of life. Good addition of the Bill Bryson commentary. Could be a long or short as you like with the self guided audio.

    Interesting place
Have always wanted to visit the Roman Baths. Finally managed to go there. Very interesting place and amazing to hear and see the things the Romans built and have influenced even to this day. Very well laid out and was not too crowded. Would recommend especially if you enjoy history.

    Immersive historical experience
A great opportunity to see history well presented through interactive showcases and well set out museum displays. The audio device included in the admission is such a valuable addition so that you can understand the context of what you are viewing. The only downside was the opportunity to sample the spa water not available. Why? Who knows as it was all set up but just had a barrier across.
Hi Derek. Thank you for leaving us a review. The water in the spa fountain is a natural product that is flowing continuously and comes from a bore hole deep below the natural hot spring. The water quality is checked frequently and the reading when you visited was irregular, so the water was turned off until checks showed it to be within the normal parameters again. We are very sorry that this happened on the day of your visit and hope to welcome you back again in the future.

    Incredible!
Perfect time of the year to visit as it was less busy than what we were told Summer time is. Able to see everything and walk around freely. The free interactive audio guide was a bonus. We were blown away by it all, and really didn't expect it to be so big, it was fascinating and really throws you back in time to how it would have been used. Very informative and helpful staff around, happy to answer any questions. We absolutely loved it, it met our expectations and more.
Hi Christy. Thank you for leaving us such a brilliant review! We are so happy to read how much you enjoyed the whole experience and we hope to see you again in the future.

    Magical
I have visited the Roman baths several times over many years and never get tired of going. I could easily spend all day here, particularly with the audio guide, and added commentary from Bill Bryson since my previous visit. It's just a spectacular glimpse into history and I'm thankful for it!

    Educational and fun
The tour is via an audio guide which you can switch on/off or set to the exhibit you are looking at in or out of sequence. The price of admittance may seem high but is well worth the cost. The exhibition is extensive with models and artifacts from the excavations. If visiting Bath this is a "must see". In high season the ques will undoubtedly be quite long.

    Wonderful experience
The Roman Baths should be on everyone's bucket list. The whole experience is totally immersive. I was surprised at how big it is compared to what you see from the outside, and it is easy to spend many hours seeing and experiencing nearly two thousand years of history. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the automated handheld guides explain every part of the site. Go visit, you won't regret it.
Hi Steve, thank you for leaving us a review. We are delighted that the visit exceeded your expectations and that you enjoyed the audioguides too!

    Interesting
The Roman Baths Museum is one of the main settings of the English town. We visited this Roman and Georgian looking town. The audio guides are either interesting or too long, accordinf to the people. We felt the ancient magic of this place, thanks to the renovations. There are only the terms that are used as a mueseum, it is not a spa :). The visit is not suitable for young children who might be bored.

    Interesting visit
The Roman Baths are well worth a visit when you are in the area. I last visited years ago and didn't remember it as being so extensive, there was a lot to see and the use of auditory handsets was such a good idea, you could tap in the number of the exhibit you wanted to hear about so were able to go through at your own pace rather than being herded through at the pace dictated by the commentator. I had some trouble when booking my tickets as I didn't receive the email with the downloadable tickets, but I received a quick reply to my emailed query and it was sorted easily. It was easy to find as Bath isn't a very large city, we used the park and ride and got into the centre easily. There are signposts around showing the points of interest. The Baths are next to the Abbey and we could hear entertainers in the square outside playing music - it was all a pleasant and very interesting experience. I would definitely recommend.

A stunning venue for wedding ceremony and wedding function. A majestic and historic setting that will create a lasting experience for all who attend.

The team organised an event with military precision and everything was superbly organised. A National Trust heritage site that oozes so much and a magnificent venue to celebrate your event.

We had booked tickets for the Roman Baths for 11 am. as part of a trip to bath for my birthday.
Being retired we didn't realise it was school half term holidays and so it was busy.

The theory of booking a date and time is a hangover from the Covid era when tourist places needed to limit the amount of people within the building.

However this is obviously not the reason for this now as the first main room we entered was absolutely packed and you had to shuffle along at a snail pace in order to try and see the exhibits. I decided to skip this room and get ahead of the crowd which actually worked and I felt very little pressure for the rest of the tour.

Free audio handsets were a benefit although the narratives were a little extensive.

There is no doubt that the Roman Baths are an excellent example of how the Romans lived and it is an amazing feeling to be walking where so many ancient people trod before you.

I couldn’t believe how much is left of the site .
I only went to kill some time but found myself fascinated .
It was quiet so I could take my time and read everything . Knowledgeable staff around to ask questions .

From a historic and general interest point of view the Roman baths will always be a great day out. The audio guide is included in your visit, something you don’t get at many tourist attractions, and provides a wealth of information. There are options to go with the general tour, tips from Bill Bryson, children’s version, or a more in depth archeological point of view. The tour is self guided and you can take your time to look at the displays and discoveries. A great family day out that is immersive, informative and enjoyable. Have visited before many years ago but enjoyed this visit as much as before!

Brilliant exhibition, really well laid out and with a superb audio guide system. The audio guides have lots of information, but also impressions by Bill Bryson, special audio for kids, and even technical information on the techniques used by the masons to build the Baths. There were also lifts so that wheelchair users could get around, and touch exhibits with brail for blind visitors. And as a bonus, it's almost all under cover - great on a really wet day!

We can to visit on Saturday 24th February 24. I found this attraction to be very expensive, i understand an upkeep is needed to the baths but please don't put donation boxes around asking for even more money for the upkeep of the baths, bit cheeky no??....Also it wat hard to even get tickets, you have to mess about booking on line with you card to even get tickets, why cant we just go in and buy some? Staff are nice but for £50 for two people I find it a total rip of. ~I found the attraction very boring . sorry, wife liked it though, so every cloud eh..

One of the most amazing historical sites we've ever seen. The museum is extensive and well designed. The audio guide is informative and the archeological finds in display are remarkable. This site has been important to people since before the Roman's, as indicated by thousands of years of coins tossed into the hot waters. The mineral water is invigorating to drink as well. This is a must visit location in Bath.

Really well presented experience for all ages. Everything was explained thoroughly and the audio guides were excellent (not too long or dreary) and kept the childrens' attention really well.
