The baths are incredible [esp when you consider how old they are. The free tour from in front of the Cathedral was GREAT!

Loved this place. The audio tour works really well allowing you to visit at your own pace and engage in as much information as you wish. Really fascinating way to appreciate Bath's historic past.

We went into the Roman Baths not really knowing what to expect, how long we would be in the museum etc etc. It is a fantastic walk through museum with a great commentary throughout. We were in the museum and baths for a considerable amount...More

We didn't expect the Roman Baths to be so good. The path through the site is quite brilliantly set out so that you can experience the baths from the Roman and the Romantic Perspectives. The excavations have been done so well that you can really...More

Fascinating place! Could easily spend a whole day here, with the spa treatments, tea house and the cute village of Bath. This was a major bath house built by the Romans, and popular during Victorian times. It lay undiscovered for quite some time. It is...More

Can explore at your own pace with recorded audio players - very intertesting - centuries old. Can tour in any weather.

This is really a wonderful exhibit that combines the sights of the Roman Baths with a history lesson. If you go to Bath and don't stop her, you are making a huge mistake.

The Roman Baths are very nice to see and full of history. Alot of interesting information about the period when the Romans occupied the UK. Can be somewhat crowded if alot of people are on site on the day of your visit.

We weren't very keen to pay 14 GBP per person to visit the Roman Baths but we were so glad we did! It's pretty amazing inside! So much history. The museum is very well laid out inside with seats every so often should you need...More

In the last ten years the visitor areas have been changed, there is much more to see. There are free guided tours most days Barbara was our guide and brought the history to life. An excellent site to visit.

Hi Maree. There may still be a small queue for pre-purchased tickets but it has been a lot shorter than the walk up queue, so we do recommend buying online before your visit. The quieter times to visit are first thing in... More

Hello. You can buy tickets online for a particular time slot or you can buy tickets on arrival at the Roman Baths. Tickets are the same price either way. We hope you enjoy your visit!
