Milsom Street is another beautiful street in Bath. There are Grade I listed buildings which house shops, offices, eating places and banks. There are lovely small boutique type shops which are very welcoming - and to browse around. I saw a souvenir shop too. It forms a T junction with George Street at one end. At the other end it... A nice little cafe in a lovely bookshop, what more can you ask for! The place was warm and cosy and a nice place to sit and watch the world go by, (try to get a window seat). Tea and cakes were very good.

This street is totally lined with boutique shops, souvenir shops and a plethora of other choices. Polly's is on this street and it is world famous. We had high tea in their shop.

I have visited Milsom Street many times and used to look forward to browsing really good quality shops as we don't have any where I live. But, sadly, like so many city centres, it is not what it was.

A gentle meander up Milsom Street is not to be missed. Great shops and eateries . Waterstones is particularly well stocked and their coffee shop is surprisingly cheap with delicious cakes and sandwiches. Milsom Place has Jamie Oliver's and Carluccios restaurants and the architecture and shop fronts are very special.

Street of lovely shops close to the Jane Austen Center and to the Circus, often described in Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey". Have a walk while going towards the Circus and the Royal Crescent.

Such a treat to find a street mostly devoid of chain retail outlets. Milsom street offers a vareity of quirky independents with a smattering of the exotic - interiors, gifts and 'I-wonder-what's-in-here' shops... Easy to find and the chances are that you'll hear some of the best buskers in England serenading you somewhere along the street. Just look out for... More

A lovely collection of known brands and stores but also a good selection of individual shops. Milsom Street tends to have more upmarket brands but further down the road is a mix of all the usual brands. Jolly's department store in Milsom Street is quite quirky so worth a visit. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area... More
