I was informed by the komedia website that they were selling 200 tickets on the door, however by my utter surprise it was a 1 in 1 out system in which I was thoroughly disappointed by. I used to like komedia however after this incident I feel as though I will not be coming back again and I feel as though the bouncers and the company have let us university students down

Last night we went to see The Ministry of Burlesque at the Komedia. Hands down the worst show I have ever attended to. Insult to my senses-no joke. The performance, costumes, etc was just tacky and NOTHING erotic about it. Felt more like a circus.
But the worst thing was the presenter... he seemed to think that the show was 'his show' but that level of narcissism is pretty standard of someone with a coke habit, that he kept bragging on about. Talking about his cocaine use was the centre of his act' and genuinely thought it was a cool thing to drop in here and there. I am shocked that Komedia allows standards to drop to this level on their stage.

This venue has real character. The old cinema has been converted with aplomb. The bars are great, there is one upstairs for balcony guests too.

The only thing funny on this comedy night was watching the reaction of the poor people who had ordered food! Thankfully we opted for the table only option. The compare tried his best and was occasionally amusing, however, the three ‘comedians’ fell woefully short of the mark. The first chap gave us an awkward 20 minutes of diatribe that must have been as uncomfortable for him as it was for the audience. Slight improvement with the second act but again which led us to think that they were building up to a strong finish with the final comedian. Unfortunately this was disappointing from a relatively good start. If you want a laugh in this place, just order the pizza!

Brilliant show by Stephen Lynch. Such a shame the seats were cable tied together meaning anyone over a size 10 was uncomfortable! They also turned off the aircon meaning it was like an oven.
Very disappointed.

We enjoyed an amazing night here.

For a very low price we had a meal included and a great seat to watch an amazing show including 3 comedians .

The drinks were reasonable and the show was very good with a great atmosphere from the crowd.

After the show the theatre became a nightclub as well all for under £40!

Two couple visited Saturday 5th August and really enjoyed it. Booked a table a few weeks earlier. Great view and friendly staff. Majority of acts very good except the second act (female comedian) who was embarrassingly bad, but that's all part of the night at a comedy club.
Once the acts finished everything was cleared away and a fantastic disco started (all included in the ticket price). If visiting Bath I would definitely recommend
