Lovely garden

I got some good photos from the street and although it was October the grounds were still attractive. I bet it's stunnung in the spring and summer

January is not the time of year for gardens to be at their best, but this one still looks neat and attractive, with well manicured lawns. It is just a small area, bordering the river, but it is a good place to relax or get views of the weir. I'm sure it must be stunning in the summer

I was looking forward to visit here for quite a while, managed to get the opportunity to for free one weekend this past December. Not sure what any fuss over this place might be about-just a few weird statues, not even many decent flower arrangements, even considering it was December. Not sure its worth the entry free.

In view of the tall Garfuncle's Hotel, the imposing Bath Abbey, an elegant terrace of houses and the River Avon, just to the south of Pultenay Bridge and the weir are the attractive Parade Gardens. There seems to be just one end of these gardens to go down and back out as the gate at the top of the steps... More

Love visiting this place, especially in the spring and summer. Great place to take young children for a run around or to sit quietly in the sun. Just don't forget your Discovery card if you're a local! Always a good idea to keep your eyes open for events throughout the year.

Obviously flowers all asleep for the winter, apart from a few brave snapdragons! Good view of the weir and Pulteney Bridge

Beautiful gardens, even in November, with plenty to see. Only thing to add is that there isn't many places nearby to park, so I'd advise to plan ahead where you'll leave the car rather than winging it last minute like I did!

Where the elite once promenaded in the 18th century, the Parade Gardens are now a more public space, albeit one with an entrance fee. Pretty flowers and well-maintained.

Lovely park/gardens alongside the river. Make a point of finding the statue of the young man and the pig - very interesting story, the guides on the free tours will tell you all about him.
