Some beautiful mature trees cluster in the centre of this circle of buildings, a refreshing variation of the more usual square arrangement. It would be good to see more features like this incorporated into good modern city planning. Impressive.
Beautiful place, obviously free. Had to take many pictures as the day we visited there was no a cloud in the sky. Only a little walk up the hill from the town centre. I would have loved to have known a little more about it...More
The Circus are curved buildings in a circle. The sandstone colour stones along with the architecture from the bottom of the buildings to the top is interesting. It is a short walk up an incline from the High Street but well worth a look.
We took the 2 hour free walking tour of Bath, which took us up to the Royal Crescent and The Circus. This was by far our favourite and we preferred it to the Royal Crescent! The stones are cleaner and the symmetry of the windows...More
