Amazing architecture! Worth the short climb and on the way to the Royal Crescent so both can be visited within minutes of each other.

Some beautiful mature trees cluster in the centre of this circle of buildings, a refreshing variation of the more usual square arrangement. It would be good to see more features like this incorporated into good modern city planning. Impressive.

Despite the name, if you come from London- this is a peaceful and scenic experience! Recommend stopping by before or after your trip to the city, adds to the character immensely!

The Circus is a wonder of Georgian architecture. Don't rush....take in all the quirky carvings and finials. It's all beautiful.

Beautiful place, obviously free. Had to take many pictures as the day we visited there was no a cloud in the sky. Only a little walk up the hill from the town centre. I would have loved to have known a little more about it...More

The Circus are curved buildings in a circle. The sandstone colour stones along with the architecture from the bottom of the buildings to the top is interesting. It is a short walk up an incline from the High Street but well worth a look.

We took the 2 hour free walking tour of Bath, which took us up to the Royal Crescent and The Circus. This was by far our favourite and we preferred it to the Royal Crescent! The stones are cleaner and the symmetry of the windows...More
