The Circus was apparently inspired by the Sun and is the sun to the moon of The Royal Crescent, so they should be seen together. One time we walked The Gravel Walk at the back of The Circus, and found there was a charming little Georgian Garden open to the public to be seen behind one of the houses.

My fav place in the whole city just because of the views and opulence of the area. Absolutely a five star view!

What an unusual place. My first trip to Bath did not disappoint. The Circus was an introduction for me to some of the fabulous buildings Bath is famous for.

What a breath taking part of this historical city. This goes down as my favorite building in Bath (Royal Cresent second). I'll always do a quick circle of the Circus roundabout if i am near that part of town. It's a must see.

This is a short walk from the city centre and there is some lovely architecture to admire. A must see when in Bath. Royal Crescent is close by- walk along Brock Street to get to it

Amazing historic architecture which is a major feature of Bath. It sits on the top side of town, in very close proximity to the Assembly rooms, the Royal Crescent and the Victoria Park. If you want to get away from the shops you can easily spend half a day ambling around this beautiful area of Bath. There are some small... More

This was my first trip to Bath and was taken back by the circus. The masonry work was amazing, the sheer size was imposing. Hard walk if you have any knee issues.

The Circus is filled with beautiful Georgian architecture in the city of Bath, Somerset, England back in the 18th century. The name derives from the Latin 'circus', which means a ring, oval or circle. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building. Surrounded by large townhouses, the Circus is divided into three segments of equal length, built and... More

To me a far better sight than the royal crescent just round the corner designed by his son. Very impressive circle of Georgian housing and well preserved.

We enjoyed visiting the Circus & having a walk around. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Bath, as is the Royal Cresent.
