Booked a private pasta making course for two people and spent an afternoon in Frederico’s capable hands as he expertly showed us how to make three types of pasta and accompanying sauces. Both fun and informative - would thoroughly recommend!

My wife and I had a fantastic private pasta-making class with Federico. He was a great host and the class was both fun and highly informative. We learnt a lot and will be attempting to replicate it at home! Would definitely recommend and we'll be back for the gnocchi class!

Perfect private class. We learnt everything you need to know about making pasta, plus yummy fillings and sauces. We shared a bottle of Prosecco and enjoyed our creations after the class. Federico was a fantastic and knowledgable teacher - we’ll definitely be back!

Thank you so much to our wonderful host, Frederico. He taught the whole class so well and gave us lots of useful tips. This was a private event for a hen do and Frederico made it so relaxing and fun!
We took the pasta home with us and it was delicious! Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting to learn about pasta!

I rarely write reviews but I had to because this was the most AMAZING pasta making class!! I learnt so much, I felt so relaxed making pasta that I later cooked. I am now so inspired to make my own pasta, it is so much better than shop bought pasta!
Frederico was so knowledgeable about pasta making and Italian cooking! He was kind enough to follow up aftewards with an email that included all the information that we had learnt from the class and included a few delicious Italian recipes as well!
This class is great for large groups of friends, hens etc... There is a bar attached to the class where you can order a glass of your favourite tipple!
It was a privilege to be taught by an expert passionate about the art of making pasta!
Book up this class... you will not be disappointed!

I have never been to a cooking workshop and this pasta making class has inspired me to sign up for more cooking classes. I learnt so much and at the same time had so much fun. We all made the most amazing pastas which we later cooked! I had so much fun along with my daughter and her hens!
Frederico was so knowledgeable and patient. He made us all feel so welcome and comfortable. I would definitely recommend signing up for this amazing class.

We went as a team day and had the most amazing time. Frederico has such a wealth of knowledge and so the learning part was very interesting. We all had such a great time actually making the pasta - I feel there will be many budding pasta makers now and the eating of it was sublime!! Definitely one of our best team events.

I booked the pasta making experience for my sisters hen party (group of 12).
It was certainly a highlight of the weekend!
We made 3 delicious pastas, Federico made the process calm and easy. Especially with a hen group!
Federico was so informative and felt like we learned so much.
There is a pub attached to the workshop and you could bring your drinks through whilst you make the pasta.
Excellent and enjoyable class!

I arrived at the class to discover that I was the only person who wasn't part of a hen party. Realising this I made sure that I gave my name clearly at the bar on the way in and I was handed an apron. It was very awkward and embarrassing. I chose a place around the table at the end of the hen party and waited for the class to begin.
After about 20 minutes introduction, it was time for the practical side to begin and one of the hen party realised she hadn't sat at a workstation. Federico did a head count and realised he had 13 people instead of 12. Although I was sat at a workstation he and I had a chat about when I booked, which had been earlier that day. He said that couldn't be possible as nothing could be booked within 24 hours of a class, however I showed him my confirmation email and he then went on to say that he had a new booking system in place and my booking just couldn't be right.
In summary I was asked to leave. He said he would refund me the money paid and give me vouchers for the future, but the whole reason I had booked the class on that day was because it was a super opportunity for me to do something in Bath for a few hours while the rest of my family were busy elsewhere.
Feeling totally humiliated and close to tears, I left.
I will never return as this was an extremely embarrassing experience and I was made to feel by Federico that I had somehow gatecrashed the event, despite having booked and paid correctly through his booking system. He was irritated and rude as clearly the hen party was his priority as they were also spending a large amount of money at the bar on bottles of wine and Prosecco and it was an extremely profitable booking for him.
I was expecting a fun-filled afternoon learning a new cooking skill. Instead I departed feeling humiliated, embarrassed and accused of being a lier after a dressing down by Federico in front of the other participants.

Dear customer,
We are sorry for the bad experience. We merged our existing booking system with a new company on Friday evening, and this resulted in taking a booking for a 10.30 slot that was already privately booked by a hen party. It would have been impossible for me to let you join a hen party as these are private events. It was indeed an embarrassing moment having to apologise to a customer. This is the first time it happened, and as a result, I apologise if it was not handled in the right manner. I have to strongly object to your false comments about asking you to leave (you kept repeatedly saying that you should leave), being rude or irritated (embarrassed and very apologetic instead) and accusing you of lying (we had 12 people here that can testify that was not the truth. Perhaps we were all just as embarrassed as you, and we had to make a very uncomfortable decision on the spot). I would like to highlight that a full refund and 2 additional gift vouchers were given for the trouble, not one.
Once again we apologise for the inconvenience. It would be better to have honest reviews on Tripadvisor with more accurate context and with a less malicious approach. We take full responsibility for the booking system technical problem. But we reject the false comments about being rude and irritated, accusing you of lying and asking you to leave when trying to find a solution. There was no reason to be rude or annoyed with you, as this inconvenience was caused by a technical error, not yourself. We appreciate your frustration caused by a technical problem, and we take full responsibility. But the personal attacks are unfounded, hurtful and totally untrue. Mistakes are made when running a business and the best we can do is apologise and offer refunds and vouchers. It is not necessary to cross the line with lies to deliberately try to damage a business that is known for its friendliness and professionalism.

I bought my partner the pasta making and cook your own creations experience for his birthday. We recently visited Italy and loved watching the fresh pasta being made in the restaurant windows. It was so so fun to have our own go at doing this! We got to make three different pasta shapes. Federiko was a fabulous instructor and had so much knowledge which he shared with us. At the end he cooked up three delicious sauces along with our homemade pasta for lunch - it was wonderful! Would thoroughly recommend!
