Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, an innovative series of steam rooms and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

A shared birthday present with a friend brought me to to the spa. Unfortunately its steam rooms were closed for refurbishment so I didn't get to experience them, but the hot baths and the rooftop pool was brilliant. Although being outside in 5 degree weather was a challenge. The treament 'Top to Toe' was pleasurable, although I didnt realise it... More

We prebooked an evening spa session. When we arrived there was a very long queue with a sign stating and hour wait, we did initially join the queue as it was not clear that you did not need to queue if you have prebooked. When inside parts of the stairs were closed and this was not clearly signposted leading to... More

One of the floors was closed for refurbishment so we could only use bottom floor and the rooftop pool; and they charged us full price. Compensation was a voucher to come back during the week...we are coming from London so very unlikely we will come back during the week. Very disappointed.

Visited in winter time, which really enhances the experience, can't fault being in lovely warm water while its misty rain overlooking the cathedral, super couple experience very romantic and not expensive for the whole experience

Went here mid week arriving at 10 and spending five hours here. We brought a package which included lunch and treatments. Glad we had treatments as some of the features weren't working properly. After five hours felt very relaxed

We arrived at the spa at 11:30, the queue was over 90 minutes, it stayed the same length for the rest of the day. Luckily we stayed for 2 days and so got back the next day as it opened and were one of the first people in the spa. It was a shame the steam rooms were closed, but... More

What a wonderful facility ! A hot-bath rooftop pool aerated of course. Then four (4) modern aromatherapy steam rooms - each with tastefully subtle flavored vapor/steam, AND a lower level indoor pool that has circulating jets and aeration that actually propels you around the 200-foot 'circuit'. Lots of fun at this place. Not cheap: but worth it ! This photo... More

Visited as part of our anniversary trip in bath for 2 nights. Both my husband and I had a wonderful time and left feeling very relaxed. I prepaid and pre booked our twilight session. It wasn't busy when we arrived at 5.30 and as we pre booked we were able to go straight in. Changing room are clean and well... More

The thermae spa is a wonderful place to come to unwind, relax and chat with friends. The hardest parts are waiting to get in (it took us an hour to queue) and offering your money to get in. We brought some friends there and if you have a discovery card it's a bit cheaper but for them they ended up... More

A bit pricey but we'll worth the indulgence. If you before April part is closed for work so you get a free ticket to return again after April. Bargain. Very relaxing.
