Visited here Sunday as recommended by a friend. Wow. From the very warm welcome to the tasting session and suggested flavours we might like. Opted for the dark chocolate and sea salt as I haven’t a really sweet tooth. It was amazing. Not too sweet and nothing like any fudge I have ever tasted. We also bought the chocolate orange which was vegan - purely chosen for taste - again not too sweet. Will now be looking online to order for gifts!

The best fudge we’ve ever tasted!! We went for the white chocolate and the salted caramel after tasting some free samples!
Such lovely owners AND they gave us a free fudge once they’d heard we got engaged!!
Couldn’t recommend more!

Awww stop it you! Such nice words of affirmation – please feel free to come back and leave another glowing review at any time! (Seriously, please do – we’re all extremely low in self-esteem and are in constant need of external validation and attention, thanks x) Again, congratulations on becoming engaged! We do make wedding gifts & services by the way, just subtly putting that out there 😉 Sadly we don’t own the place, as we are simply cogs in a glorious corporate machine – but regardless, it was an absolute pleasure cogging for you and thank you so much for the lovely review! Fudge Love xx

Was given a family experience for my birthday, and we had such a fantastic time. Ian, Natty, Pete and Joe were all so much fun and so good with the kids. The fudge tasted amazing, and Ian couldn't have made it any more enjoyable than it was. Would definitely recommend it to anyone
Thank you all so much

Well thank you ever so much Naomi! We’re glad you had such a lovely time – we certainly did 😊 Ian, Natty, Pete and Joe are great with kids – much in the same way a golden retriever is. They’re loyal, friendly, a little bit dumb and constantly enthusiastic about eating chocolate even though it’s not good for them. Joe is very nearly toilet trained too now as well, which is lovely. Thanks to you and your children for being such good, calming influences on them. We hope to see you again in the future! Fudge Love xx

Brilliant experience! We got to see all stages of the fudge making process. No question left unanswered...great banter and fun commentary...very entertaining team (Dylan, Ian and Pete were awesome). Flamboyant show! Beautiful fudge too.

Us? Flamboyant? *Throws confetti at laptop screen* Whatever do you mean!? Oh Helen! Helen Helen Helen! The greatest Helen since the one that launched a thousand ships that one time way back – truly you have fine taste in fudge and even better taste in fudge shop employees. It was our pleasure to entertain you in whatever humble little way we could. We hope that you will take the fudge making wisdom we bestowed unto yourself and use it only for good! Come see us again soon! Fudge Love, Sneaky Pete xx

Where to begin?! The fudge itself was incredible, unbeatable, and deliciously indulgent. But the experience started the moment we walked through the door - the staff were so welcoming and informative it put an immediate smile on our faces. We got to watch the Admiral make dark chocolate fudge (and sampled some), and were treated to a full explanation of the dark fudge making arts by Joe, and helped along by Cat too. Highly recommend - for everyone!

Had I my Royal Navy Frigate to hand I should have fired off 21 cannon in your honour. As it is I have nothing to offer but my thanks….and this nautical limerick…… There was a young couple from Plymouth Or maybe they hailed from Tynemouth? Either way out, they were seamen of clout And we’re glad that we welcomed them in…mouth. Many thanks for a swashbucklingly good review. The Admiral and his men salute you! Fudge love Ian Xx

It was towards closing time & it was raining. I had walked by earlier & had decided to go after dinner. We rushed over and the owner(?) kept the shop open for us. He was very lovely and friendly. He let us try a lot of different flavors and explained the process. Definitely different than American fudge. The size of the slices are amazing compared to the price (never seen so big). Very happy we came and it was a nice memory to leave Bath with at the end of the day.

Ode To Carrie Carrie was carrying all the detritus you get from a day out in Bath Bath Buns from Sally Lunns, Bath water, Bath Gin as well as a Bath Rugby scarf. A Jane Austen anthology, books on archeology and some very rough west country cider A Centurions helmet, some old Roman Coins and an amphora dragging beside her. Carrie was hurrying, Carrie was worrying that she may have left it too late Just one final stop to finish the lot, for she had a sweet tooth to sate She reached the Fudge Kitchen with moments to spare and stuck her foot right in the door But the staff didn’t mind, they were happy to find a Fudge lover they’d not seen before! Thanks for a lovely review! Big Fudge Love Ian xx

The Fudge Kitchen in Bath is always a pleasure to visit. If you ever find yourself in Bath then you NEED to go, trust me you won't regret it! You'll get fed with fudge and you also get to see the fudge being made. Its so satisfying and the smell is DIVINE. If you stay around, you will be able to try the fudge once it's ready, fresh off the table, all warm and gooey. The shop is also in such a lovely location, opposite the Abbey. The staff are full of personality and are the most comforting, friendly people who give a great customer service with a smile to everyone. And if you love fudge that much and you are a foodie looking for something to keep you busy whilst your in Bath then they do fudge experiences where you can make your own batch of fudge behind the scenes and take home loads of fudge and of course have the most fun! I've done two experiences with the team, once with Ian and the second with Pete and both have been amazing and such grwat fun! So.. what are you waiting for, go to the Fudge Kitchen when your in Bath, you won't be disappointed.

Ode to Lauren A young lady called Lauren came calling At the Fudge Kitchen one winter day And so overwhelmed by the sights and the smells Was she that she fainted away In vain the staff tried to wake her They poked her and gave her a nudge But slumbering Lauren, drooling and snoring just lay there refusing to budge Till the grumpy old fudgeboss relented (While certainly holding a grudge) With an audible wheeze he got down on his knees And roused poor dear Lauren with fudge. Thanks for your amazing review Lauren, you're the best! See you soon. Fudge Love Ian xx

My partner bought me a fudge making experience for Christmas as we had previously bought fudge from this store many times before! I was honestly so impressed with our experience with the team! They made us feel so welcome right from the start - even making us a cup of tea which was 👌 - and got us settled in!
We got to learn lots about fudge making with Natty and co. and how they make each flavour, then also having a go at each step of the process! Little bit of friendly competition between my partner and myself in the moulding of the fudge once cooled, and lots of laughs throughout. Ate our own selection of pre-cut fudge, tasting other flavours in between AND got to take 6 slices home - which is included in the price - as well as some slices of our very own fudge we made. Honestly cannot thank the team more, and was genuinely pleased to have a laugh and joke with throughout the experience making us 100x more comfortable!

Will definitely consider for future presents and will obviously be returning once we have scoffed the rest of our fudge!

Sorry I can’t remember the names of the rest of the team on but thank you ☺️

Awwwwww thanks so much! I'm really glad Natty and the team made you feel confortable and that you had a good time. They're sweet boys aren't they? And they try so hard to be friendly! If anything, actually, it's a bit much. I can't tell you how long I've spent trying to make them more stand-offish and aloof but they WILL insist on being friendly and welcoming to customers. Just not cricket as far as I'm concerned but what can you do? It's a brave new touchy feely world. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to be kind. You're review is brilliant. Fudge Love Ian xx

If you're in Bath, I highly recommend a trip to fudge kitchen! We were greeted with the most devine smell as we entered the shop, and once inside we received a very warm welcome from super friendly staff - Joe and 2 of his colleagues who were demonstrating their skill and artestry preparing fresh fudge on a slab of marble, with great theatrical flair! We chatted with Joe and the team (who are all very knowledgeable and passionate about their fudge) and were given free samples of the different flavours before we settled on our final choices. We were even given a taster of the warm fresh fudge that had just been made also (dark choc and sea salt) which was sublime! The team asked us about our visit to Bath and recommended places we could go in both good and bad weather - fabulous customer service (with a smile) indeed. We were aware of the store in Windsor from a trip there a while back, but the team in Bath radiated the heart, soul and pride in their products. We left with a box of 6 yummy flavours (dark choc, Belgian choc, choc orange, lemon cheesecake, butter pecan and strawberries and cream!) A fabulous experience all round!

Now THAT is a special review! 714linzir you are simply too kind. I'll pass your sentiments onto the team and give Joe an extra sratch behind the ears for being such a good boy. You should see his little leg quiver when he gets an ear scratch...it's adorable. Seriously though thanks for saying such nice things and for reassuring us that we're coming across the way we want to. We have a brilliant time at work and customers like you are the reason.* Fudge Love Ian xx *well, you and the constant free fudge we stuff into our faces until the regret sets in.

Lesson booked as a surprise for my birthday by my wife who knows that I am addicted to fudge!
Our teacher Ian was amazing to say the least.... he clearly enjoys what he does and that carries through when having a lesson, along with his staff had a fantastic afternoon learning to make fudge... that also went on sale in store and slices sold whilst we were still there!
On arrival there is fudge galore for you to taste and all the way through it stays that way... then at the end you walk away with lots of fudge .... for someone like myself it never gets too much...
I can only say that I would 100% recommend a lesson here its worth every penny and made my birthday weekend extra special!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply to this most excellent review. I was trying to find the words to express my gratitude. It turns out there aren't any good enough words so I shall make my own... Frabtastic spanglifications and winchumbly prestivibrians for such a reckwingbunty review! It was a pleasure to meet you all and well done for making such a cracking batch. Fudge Love Ian xx
