What a wonderful little farm! Went with our one year old who loved feeding the goats and watching the chickens. We arrived early to easily grab a space in the carpark but it was full by 11am when we left (sunny day during half term).

Cafe had a great selection of hot drinks and sweet treats with friendly staff but sadly we didn’t realise they served breakfast until we walked past others eating it on the way out. We should have asked!

Our only grumble was the baby changing situation. My husband went off to do a nappy change while I ordered from the cafe but couldn’t find one he could use. They do have one in the ladies but I find it really disappointing that an organisation who are progressive enough to have a ladies, a gents and an all gender toilet don’t think Dad’s can change nappies too! He’s mentioned it would put him off going back solo and he can’t be the only Dad who feels like this. Please chuck a changing mat in the gents and the all gender toilet, I appreciate you’re a charity and will happily donate the £10 for it if you do!

My partner and I visited the farm and had a lovely time looking at the goats and pigs, notably. It is relatively small but we cannot complain due to free entry and free parking. We didn’t visit the cafe but we could see how popular it is.

This place is lovely, especially if you have small children with you. Remarkably, entry and parking are both free. There is a range of animals available to admire and they sell bags of food for some.

There is a lovely little cafe offering a range of options, including some vegan. Staff did seem over-stretched when we visited one sunny Saturday: maybe they were under-staffed that day.

The farm is sited high above Bath with fantastic views over much of the city: worth a visit just for that

Wow I have lived in Bath all my life. Heard about this place but never visited. It’s a little gem. The surroundings are fantastic and it is clear that the volunteers and staff work extremely hard for everyone’s pleasure and for all ages to enjoy. We had lunch in the Cafe and the food was stunning. Definitely the best ploughman’s my husband and I have EVER had. The cheese was all local and plentiful. Well done everyone for all your hard work. I would be upset to ever read any negative comments about this place as everything is perfect. Free to get in (but donations are well worth giving to keep it going). Super for children with animals and a play area. I’m now going to be a regular and share the experience with friends, although selfishly I don’t ever want it to be to busy as it’s just an oasis in the dessert…..perfection.

A love little farm for young children, especially toddlers and preschoolers. Apart from the animals, vegetables and abundant wild flowers there is a good cafe and several toilets. Parking available. Good views of Bath and the Avon Valley.

We hadn't visited this farm for a few years and it's changed lots, the new cafe is great. Really good menu, reasonably priced and lots of choice for food and drinks. Plenty of inside and outside tables with most of the outside ones overlooking the fab park. Amazing views over Bath. Goats, pigs, rabbits, ponies, sheep and chickens. There are also a couple of nature trail walks, but we didn't do them this time as we weren't sure how long they were and where they went, but we may try them next time, especially if we took a picnic. The fact that this farm is free, with the option to make donations is wonderful. Plenty of party too. We will definitely return.

Lovely views over Bath from the farm. So good to see a community farm. I visited alone but it seemed like a fun place to take small children for a free trip out. The place seems wholesome and had a good community feel.

Only found this City Farm by accident as I had never heard of it. My grandson was so excited & it lived up to all our expectations. He loved feeding the goats & sheep, especially with one very greedy goat fighting off everyone. He loved the pen with Luna & Pixie & fell in love with the white one. Fed the pigs which he truly adored with all the noise they make. The cafe & play area are so lovely with the option of also buying plants. Thank you to the community who kept this farm going.

A visit on a sunny day at Easter.we had an enormous and very enjoyable meal in the cafe. Great and imaginative use of seasonal produce. Sourced from the farm and locally. Excellent value for food with high provenance.
The farm animals are a great delight. They are friendly and come up to be scratched and patted.
The veg patches are inspiring.
Great views and friendly staff.
Bath city farm has it all. A great community facility.

Had a bangin' time there, I did! The vibe's dead friendly, animals all over the shop, and cracking spots for a stroll. Spot on for a family day out, it is. Loved getting stuck in with feedin' the animals and the bits for the little 'uns. Personally, I was proper chuffed with the views of the city.
Only thing, reckon a bit more info 'bout the farm wouldn't 'urt. top-notch spot for a good ol' chinwag with nature.

Thank you for taking the time to send a review about Bath City Farm. We're so glad you had such a great time and enjoyed visiting our animals and walking the site. It's interesting that you mention a bit more information about the Farm would be good. We do have some plans in progress for information boards on the Farm and hope to see this delivered this year. Meanwhile if you have any questions about the Farm or our charity work please let us know. Best wishes Alison Communication and Development Lead
