Breathtaking scenery and lovely little quaint shops and restaurants to go to! Very friendly atmosphere with good service wherever you go! If you are going at peak times arrive early as parking can sometimes be a bit tricky!

Usual overpriced nik naks and souvenirs. The Cheddar Cheese maker was worth a look, but the shop doesn't bare comparison with its Wensleydale competitor

We had a brilliant time. As we went on a coach trip we didn't have enough time. We are arranging to go again.

A variety of quaint shops and tea rooms line the narrow road that winds through Cheddar Gorge. You pay to enter the caves and the entrance to the hike, but strolling through the street is free. If you are passing the area and want an afternoon cream tea and do some non high street shopping, a stop here is worth... More

This lovely place has something for everyone, there are car parks at either end of the gorge and in the middle all reasonable priced.there are lots of cafes, touristy shops and things to do for all ages, all the shops were dog friendly and the place was very clean, the road through was busy so be mindful of young children.... Not a bad Aladdin's Cave of treasure. Loads on offer. Parking a bit of a nightmare, at the top of the Gorge, but does let you wander through the Gorge at the other shops and cafes on on offer. Worth a nose.

opens at 10 shuts at 4, lots of items there of all kinds, but go early if you need to park as you will have a long walk otherwise parking costs £5, very touristy area sells things you don't get in any high street as well as those you do.

So the wife and I plus Lola the puppy were in Clarks shopping village and heading to sand bay. We stopped by here to see what the fuss was about. We didn't do the caves as we got there fairly late in the afternoon. By the sound of it we would need a whole day there to see it all.... More

Beautiful area .. very picturesque. . But you have to pay in total nearly £ 20 a head per adult to get in to see the caves museum climb jacobs ladder.. The only problem was some of our party couldn't go into the caves for medical reasons so for this reason it was very overpriced :( ..
