Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We like to travel around, and we've been to many crazy golf locations, ranging from small homemade to large corporate ones. And this is most likely the best one we've ever seen. In it's 18 holes it has a great range of simple corners to really complex features such as tubes and challenging hills.
The member of staff we met was really friendly and really wrapped this up as a great experience.
The only negative thing I could say about it was that it wasn't advertised very well from the outside. The course itself is behind a terrace of shops and the front end looked rather simple. We expected it to be a small, 9-hole, prefab course for a bit of a timesoak before we went home, but instead we found the real hidden gem it was,
I'm writing this review in an attempt to get more people playing that course as it's truly worth the time, and a really reasonable price for what it was.

Wanted to do something different while taking in the beautiful sights of the cheddar gorge. This little beauty is hard to find if you are in the car. It’s entrance is in the middle of a row of shops. Opposite the ticket and information centre for the caves.
The golf course is very good. 18 holes. Social distancing was very good. You choose you own golf ball, and you are handed your golf club by a lovely man with gloves on. It takes about 45 mins to complete the course and the last hole keeps your ball. Once you have finished you place your golf club upside down in a bin with water and disinfectant in it. £4.50 a per person was very reasonable too.

Wanted to do the crazy golf for the last couple of times that we have been to Cheddar but didn't get round to but we should of as it was fun.
If its very busy then you may have to wait to get onto the next part of the course but we loved how unusual it was and you thought some sections were easy until you realised that the hole wasn't the end ! We took out friendly and well-behaved dog who got involved too.
Had a really lovely time here, shame we didn't do it before.

I visited on 13th August with my wife and 2 sons, it’s a nice little course and my sons but unfortunately the company are just interested in making up for lost time and money by packing the place out and have no control over the amount of people they let in the place at once. They need to monitor people numbers inside and not keep continuing to let people in when it’s busy.
A simple solution is to have a member of staff in the course area to let the desk know when it’s too busy to achieve a safe distance.
Unfortunately at the same time we we’re there a large group of about 6 kids of various ages and 2 adults who had no control over them were behind us and they had no clue of social distancing and balls were flying up the holes that we hadn’t even finished which spoilt our fun

Lovely 18 hole mini golf course. One or two challenging holes but overall a fun experience. The gentleman at the ticket office was very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had if is it all felt cramped and we felt like we were on top of the people at the next hole. But this wouldn't stop me from visiting again x

We called in as the weather was a bit grey & drizzling but the course is quite shaded - we were lucky as it wasn't busy but I imagine it could take a while to complete if it is as there are some challenging holes to conquer!
The course is quite compact (but still 18 holes) there are some steps to get to different levels so people with mobility issues may struggle.
It was very well run, Covid measures in place. The reception staff are friendly.
Good value for money (£4.50 each), it was good fun. I would recommend this as a good way to spend an hour or so....

Earlier on we went for a game of crazy golf.
It was very busy but the guy ensure the clubs were all wiped down before handing them out.
The atmosphere was fantastic and everyone was having fun.
Very good course and although I got beaten by my 14 year old nephew, I beat my 10 year old niece 👏😂

As a family we love playing mini golf. This crazy golf course was extremely fun and adventurous. Playing with a family who loves golf it was a lot of laughter and competition. This crazy golf compared to the normal crazy golf that is rather easy this tested us! Thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you!

Used to come here all the time on day trips with family when little. So glad to see still here and still popular. As must if you are visiting Cheddar and the Gorge/Caves.
Dogs Allowed though as long as on leads and under control and owners clean up after.

What are the opening times and prices for Crazy Golf please?

Think it was £4.50 per person & open 11 - 5:30

This can be a challenge. There is a small car park right in front of the shop through which you access the crazy golf. Otherwise there is parking on the edge of the village and a walk back in. I seem to remember the closest parking was a little pricey - but it avoided the walk.
