We were meeting up with old friends and what better place to meet up than on the Tor at Glastonbury. This being our first visit we had a thoroughly enjoyable hour although rather than struggling with our phones we would have liked to see some...More

If you're in the area, take a trip up the Tor. Amazing views of the surrounding areas. Just one word of warning, stay clear if it's very windy. We took a trip up there a few years ago and due to the wind direction, struggled...More

One of my favourite places in the world. A true energy site for those who are looking for incredible experiences and wonderful views.

It is a fairly straightforward walk up steps but as it was extremely windy we almost got blown away especially at the bends. The view at the top is incredible and even with the clouds we could see for miles. Definitely worth the effort though...More

So, as an unfit lady of a certain age, I won't pretend it was a breeze getting to the top of the Tor... but it certainly was worth it! The most incredible views and a truly spiritual experience.

Enjoy and wonderful walk from the gown centre through Green fields up to the Tor which provides 360 degree views of Glastonbury. Worth doing.

We were catching up with friends in Glastonbury and weren't sure about doing the walk up to the Tor as our little girls are only five and two. We thought we'd give it a go and at least we'd stretch our legs, tire the girls...More

I really enjoyed the climb to the top and the view while up there is amazing. The paths are wide enough if you need a stop along the way.

No one told me that there was two ways up The Tor! I think I chose the steepest one with steps and sloping pathways. Great view when you get to the top though, you can see for miles. I can imagine it can get very...More

We parked in a factory car park opposite the well gardens. Had to go in their shop and pay a few quid for a permit.

Hi, sorry I've not gotten back to you before (I very rarely log into trip advisor). I believe that it is the Heart chakra of the world; in any case -it is one of the most peaceful places I've ever visited.

From the high street to the bottom of the hill is probably 15 to 20min depending on how briskly you walk. Up the Tor itself, I would say another 15 to 20min
