Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I heard about Tor's Tours via many recommendations on FB threads when people were asking about how best to spend their time when visiting Glastonbury.

A friend and I chose the 7 hour Glastonbury walking tour, with Chakra meditations at various stops.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the walk, the sites, the meditations, and all the history and stories that Tor shared with us.

The tour ended with a walk up the Tor.
I really wish we had started with the walk up that big hill, then the smaller hill, then easier as the day wore on.

We were every sort of tired at the end of the tour, but felt completely exhilarated at the same time.

Our visit was just two nights, so this tour allowed us to see all of the highlights in the most efficient way, leaving a full day to stroll around the town and do a bit of independent exploring.

Truly wonderful.

I had a wonderful time out with Tor and guest on a Stonehenge and Avebury tour! Tor is a comforting and horizon-broadening presence. He made it feel as though we had traveled back centuries and were participants and more than visitors. He is a joy to be around and a fantastic guide, I was on what one might call a pilgrimage and Tor is the perfect facilitator to open up worlds of past and present. He also gave a very authentic engaged and generous reading afterwards. Would tour again. Thank you Tor x

Absolutely loved this tour with Tor of the Tor! I thoroughly loved this walking tour through the sacred sites of Glastonbury and Tor was an excellent host! He even led us through guided visualizations at each of the sites that really added to the whole experience & made it quite special. Not your average tour. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time with Tor visiting Glastonbury's sacred sites. His knowledge of all the facts and legends is absolutely enlightening. We got much more than we expected and we highly recommend his service if anyone plans a visit to Glastonbury, the most enchanting and highly energetic place I've ever been. The company of his precious dog was a delight and a treat.

I was extremely lucky to have found Tor online. I really wanted a guide to see Stonehenge and Avebury. Wow! I was not expecting the amount of amazing information I was to be given on this day tour. Everything from the sites themselves, the positioning of the stones, the possible use of the different stones and everything in between on the way there and back to Glastonbury. I felt like I was out on a day trip with an extremely knowledgeable friend. Do yourself a huge favour and book a tour with Tor.

We did the half day tour of Glastonbury with Tor on the hottest day of the year! Tor was great company, extremely knowledgeable and very generous with his time. It was a pleasure to meet him and we hope to do more tours with him. We highly recommend him.

Tor seemed to be a very gentle, kind man and put effort in to making the tour interesting.
I am 62 and was looking forward to a tour about King Arthur and Camelot. It appears that kind of tour does not exist and Tor does not even know many of the traditional stories or legends. We were extremely disappointed.
My companions and I are practicing Christians. As such we know the Bible and Bible history fairly well. The information Tor gave us using stories and documented historical facts from the Bible were twisted and made it clear he did not know Bible stories.
In all, my group felt this tour was a waste of time and money. In defense of Tor, most of the tours in Glastonbury are similar. Glastonbury is a place you can skip. What once was a fun legend has been twisted, forgotten and replaced with nonsense.
We are sad we used part of our trip and funds in Glastonbury.

My only 2 bad reviews, both from the same party, after 8 years with only 169 excellent reviews, this saderns me as this group of Latter-day saints from Utah seemed to enjoy them selves so I'm not sure the motivation of their reviews? If you agree with them then maybe you should as suggested avoid Glastonbury. But I hope you come and have a lovely time filled with magic.

My sister and I did the 6 day sacred sites of England tour earlier this month. This is now moving into an 8 day tour, and you will be thankful because there is so much to see and learn. We have time with Michael and Tor and both are amazing in their own rite. Michael is whimsical and amazing. Tor is grounded and wonderful. If you are interested in the unspoken, the history we haven't been told, go on this tour. I had a few breakthrough and I would do it all over again! We also did a one day tour of London with Adrian. I learned American history on that tour! P.S. pack your hiking shoes

Even as we were greeted by Tor, I knew it was going to be a fabulous day. By his own admission, Tor he looks like Hagrid from Harry Potter and he took us on an amazing tour of Glastonbury. The amount of detail and information Tor gave us was amazing. His passion for the place he now calls home is evident and he totally is inspired and adores his job. The tour will take you to all the sites you need to see and include lots more information about the town and the people living there.
I would fully recommend this tour if you are visiting Glastonbury on a whistle stop tour as it
ended with us arriving up the top of the Tor, guided by Tor, at near sunset. What a sight!
Thank you Tor!

In July we booked the 2-day tour of Cornwall with Tor, it was the best choice we could make. Normally we travel individually but we wanted to see the hidden gems you find hard. Our trip was amazing, we saw all the places on the list and much more. Tor is a very compassionate guide and his wisdom about Glastonbury and England is great. He knows all the magickal places around Cornwall and Devon, related to Arthur Saga and Celtic heritage. Both days he showed us more than usual, he gave us enough time to explore so we felt we were on tour with a good friend of us. He guided us until evening and showed us breathtaking views and nature sights on both days. He made sure we got good food and rest, we ate really fantastic during our trip. He was very flexible with time and individual wishes, we appreciated it very much! Bosayne and Tintagel are small lovely villages, rough cliffs and magickal atmoshere with the Castle so you feel yourself in a fantasy world with knights and elves and gnomes. St. Nectan´s fall and Whistman wood guides you to the faiery realms, too. Thank you Tor you made our trip and stay in Cornwal really unforgettable, we are very thankful for your competence and caring. If we come to Glastonbury again you are our first choice!
