This was the view every morning from my Hotel window. We met up with friends for The Arts Festival and had a brilliant weekend exploring Wells. Thoroughly recommend.

A wonderful site at the top of the main very quaint shopping street. The shop is worth a visit too. Allow at least an hour or two as the gardens are nice as well

I have for many years travelled around England, and visiting it's lovely churches and cathedrals, but this is a real diamond among them. Go and see, there is nothing more to say.

The High Parts Tour truly is an awe-inspiring experience, to be highly recommended. You do need to book for this, but they are running until October. More information on the Cathedral's website.

The lady on the entrance ask if you like to donate. You can donate inside if you prefer or say no thank you. The money from the cafe also goes into donations. The cafe prices are very reasonable and good quality.
