This is a brilliant place! But to many people just follow the same well worm routes!! Don't do it just follow your hearts & any track you fancy, you will not get lost but just getting away from the mob is brilliant! On some of the tracks you will see the mob on the main track & will be amazed.... More

A great day out with a camera and/or binoculars to see wild deer and beautiful birds and fauna and flora. Lots of paths to explore that take you from woodland to open moorland.

Cannock Chase is an amazing area with very varied terrain that is teaming with wildlife. It was very windy so we walked on the common rather than in the woods

Very hard to review such a vast and varied area, as long as you like being outdoors there will be something for you here, there is so much more to do than just around the visitors centres though, I would recommend exploring the quieter areas of the chase much more chance of seeing deer and other wildlife

This designated "Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty" is 3,000 acres of stunning scenery with picnic areas aplenty! Even in cold and frosty conditions, just wrap up warm and have a refreshing walk in the countryside. There are plenty of maps available online to download for free as well. Take some water and a phone; just in case.

Me and my family was looking forward to this restaurant opening and hoping it was going to be nice and rich full of flavour. We have lived in Cannock for 10 years now and we are yet to find a Indian restaurant where the restaurant owners are not from Walsall and the stock isn't the same in all the dishes... More

An excellent area for all sorts of outside activities, suitable for the whole family. There are numerous cycling tracks, there is a Go Ape centre, and also during the summer there are numerous high profile concerts held at weekends. Don't be put off by what has been written in the past about the Chase, it is safe to walk, cycle,... More

I am fortunate to live within walking distance of Birches Valley. I find it ideal for running, mountain biking, photography or just walking to relax. The scenery is very different in different parts. Their a number of very well laid out and signposted cycle tracks catering for all types, from families to those with a love of red and black... More

We have a 3 year old who loves the story of stick man. This walk is great for her. Not too far, plenty to discover although the actual stick man trail does tuna but dry about half way round. Great idea, although someone has broken stick mans arm off. You get to see the gruffalo too. I think with a... More
