Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I recently attended the whole day session. Held at a beautiful private venue with very gracious and generous hosts. Armapal and Gian were just the most wonderful teachers, interesting, knowledgeable and helpful. Although I have cooked Indian style food before this was on another level and I learnt so much. Brought home a huge bagful of fresh, healthy tasty food which my whole family demolished. I cannot praise ICOOKINDIAN enough and would recommend them to anyone. I am a keen cook but I think that anyone no matter how little cooking experience of confidence they have would thoroughly enjoy the experience.

We went as a group from Michelin in Stoke on a mystery tour, I had always thought Indian cooking to be long winded but I was amazed how easy it was m, our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable and passionate about what they were doing. Would definitely recommend it for a team building exercise or if you want to improve your cooking skills.

Running now out of Stafford College, this was a truly hands on experience of cooking authentic Indian food. All spices are explained along with interesting tales and facts to go along with them. Armarpal is a great and patient teacher and his passion and knowledge shines through.
In no time at all we were all creating wonderful dishes that were so simple to produce, under the guidance of the team. A great experience, which has since had me cooking Samosa's and Bargees whenever possible!

Amarpal is a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate man when you're talking Indian cooking, he explains individual spices and gets everyone involved, by the end of the evening we had successfully cooked enough food to feed an army. A great team building event full of fun and good food.

Joined a whole gang of friends and were at once immersed in the Indian Food culture. The pros and cons of the different spices we were explained and before we knew if we were eating Samosas that we had made ourselves! They made it so easy.
We then proceeded to complete five different dishes to create a well balanced and healthy Indian meal.
They supplied all the necessary packaging and I took home my meal and enjoyed it very much that evening.

What a fab night.
Time was spent explaining about the different spices before the cooking experience. All the steps needed to complete each part of the meal was explained and additional support was on hand when required. The food produced was scrumptious and if not consumed was packed up ready to take home. Would certainly attend another course.

What a great afternoon (Sunday 1st Feb 2015). Amar and his team were brilliant in helping us to create the most authentic tasting Indian food. Amar is very personable and knowledgeable and it was a very enjoyable experience. A lot of the mystique in creating Indian food has been removed and I now feel confident in producing a wide range of Indian gastronomic treats!

This wasn't the first time I'd attempted to cook Indian food however this was the best Indian meal I've ever cooked.
I was part of a group of around 12 and we all had good fun and nobody was disappointed with the end product. Armapal is an excellent teacher and he came up with the goods. To top it all off I had a two course meal for two in the bag.
I will be doing this again.

Being a lover of Indian food I thought this would be a great chance for me to attempt my own Indian cuisine!
It was a fantastic experience and I now make my own naan breads which I didn't realise how easy to make they were !

Amarpal and his team were fantastic and very patient with my numerous question asking !

Would definitely recommend this as a birthday present or in a group of friends

I had a great day at Icook. I found the tutors to be attentive and friendly answering any questions I had whilst also prompting me think about why certain things are working and what the principles of the cooking are. The lesson gave me a better understanding of the steps taken in Indian cooking which in turn has prompted me to make my own dishes and be creative (this is encouraged by the tutors as they readily point out it is ingrained in Indian cooking culture) Really enjoyable day highly recommended!
