Stoke Minster is an amazing church that is well worth a visit. The architecture is beautiful and the stained glass windows out of this world. I would highly recommend a visit.

Went for a talk on local potters and potteries. Uncomfortable pews and could have been warmer. Interesting graves, including Wedgwood.

I only got to see the outside, as the church was not open the Thursday morning that I visited, shame really. Modest Minster but surely characteristic.

This site is used very well for many types of concerts, as well as normal religious services. The Christmas celebrations are very good and there is a large car par close by.

The minister is stunning. I particularly liked the ceramic tile memorials that run around the walls. Seeing as its a ceramic town this seems very fitting Also got to see Josiah Wedgwood's grave.

Sense Stoke with the potters, and Wedgewood's Grave. See Stoke before the potters, can you find the shaft of a Saxon Cross? See the old font inside the Church, where children are still christened today. Sense how people have walked through the doors, and prayed...More
