Fantastic “you win again”, Extortionate drink prices
Feb 2020 • Friends
Simply a fantastic show, spoilt by extortionate drink prices - whisky/lemonade and two strawberry ciders - £20!!!!

Visit to Regent Theatre Stoke
Dec 2019 • Friends
My first visit to see a pantomime and I have mixed feelings, the public areas were light well staffed but I felt drinks were expensive the actual auditorium didn’t give you a welcome feel firstly because it was decorated all in grey, there was no floor covering and the seats though comfy looked a bit soiled and worn. Think it is in need of a full makeover...

Panto
Dec 2019 • Family
Just returned from a fantastic performance from Jonathan Wilkes & his co stars at The Regent Theatre, Stoke on Trent. I would give the show 5 stars but my experience was tainted by 3 little boys sitting behind us kicking our chairs & waving their light sabres around our heads. Neither parents or grandparents were able to control their behaviour. In the end we had to move to vacant seats.
We all want to enjoy the shows’ especially when it costs us so much. We don’t want to spoil anyone’s fun & children should be children but equally we don’t want our fun ruined either ! On reflection we truly believe a panto is too much for under 8 years. Parents should respect others & ensure good behaviour in public otherwise please stay at home.

Signed: A parent !

Another great panto
Dec 2019 • Family
We have been visiting the panto for a few years now and love it everytime....we are a large family group ageing between 5 and 92 and everyone loves it. The best bit for us is that it doesnt have a "look at me I'm the celebrity" Jonny, Christian and his company all put their heart into the performance. We will book again next year and more than likely the year after that.

Panto itself great but venue not so
Dec 2019 • Family
We came as a family ranging from 3 to 43 and the panto itself was extremely engaging with the audience and fascinating to watch the cast were fantastic perfect for all ages kept us all laughing all the way through. The drinks were so expensive but we all pay the price. There was air conditioning on so always had a nice cool flow on us. We were on row H and had the perfect view. Yes we would definitely come again but hopefully the piano bar would be open too it felt like we were sat in a low class waiting room

Disappointing Panto this year
Dec 2019 • Family
I have been taking my grandchildren to the panto at the Regent Theatre Hanley for 25 years and have always loved it. However, this year was very disappointing - it was full of smutty innuendo that reminded you of Frankie Howard gone wrong.
Panto is usually very clever ensuring that the children have a great time and there are witty funny comments for the adults. This years Panto seems to have completely forgotten about the children. Where was the glitz and glamour and fun for the kids?!? Don’t go - chose another venue

Christmas Panto.14/12/2019
Dec 2019
Far too many homophobic jokes and sexual innuendos in this years Christmas Panto of Sleeping Beauty. The coffee was of very poor quality. No chocolate tubs only mint and strawberry, needs to be chocolate for the children.Staff were very pleasant as usual.
