Was nice inside loads of spectacular butterflies that come really close. Big pond with coy carp in that come to the surface so u can really see them. Some meerkats too. Obviously it was very warm but cold outside. Would have been nice if the had a cloak room to put your coats. Mebbes a little expensive but fine and... More

One tip I'd say wear bright colours as t he butterflies will land on you. Beautiful little piece of paradise, set out really good. Crammed full of exotic plants, butterflies and little birds. For me the only let down was the lady who took our admission fee today; miserable would be an understatement. She never said please/thank you, didn't tell... More

I loved this place and I didn't want to leave. I could have stayed there all day. The butterflies were beautiful and the plants were gorgeous. It really was like a mini paradise. I took that many photos that my camera needed charged again even though I had just charged it in the morning. I found the experience very peaceful... More

I have been twice recently, once with my 3 Grandchildren which was excellent with one unexpected benefit, and that was the fact that it showed the children that you dont have to "flap" at every insect that comes near to them. They obviously got used to the butterflies close to them and now appreciate insects much more that they did... More

We visited here during the school holidays (myself and my daughters age 4 and 7) Admission price was reasonable at £7.50 for all 3 of us and you can come and go as much as you like all day. We saw lots of pretty butterflies and took photos. There is a beautiful large blue one which we tried so hard... More

With 2 children to occupy it was lovely to take them here after school. The area is well managed and well kept. Butterflies are around and about and the colours are beautiful. £8 well spent. The fish and waterfall are excellent and mesmerising. The children where very close and loved it. When we wen through to see the Meerkats it... More

Reasonably priced attraction with plenty to see including reptiles, Meerkats, very large Koi and of course butterflies. The only slight negative is no toilets on site, no cafe on site (yes I know there is toilets and a cafe 100 yards away but when it's pouring down I didn't bother). Also it would be good if they did a talk... More

We visited here earlier this week and it's fab. As soon as you walk in you're hit with the subtropical climate. The plants and flowers are wonderful and provide the perfect contained environment for the selection of butterflies that are housed here. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there's also resident finches (I assume to keep the level of... More
