This is a must for a visit to Aldeburgh if only to support a wonderful local endeavour. Beyond that, it is a wholly professional cinema. Seats are comfortable. Snacks etc available at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and helpful. The programme also includes highways and byways of cinema which add interest. We LOVED it!

I think the cinema must have a had an update since we last used it, as it seems to have new, very comfortable seats. It only has one screen so no choice of film, but it happened to be showing something that we wanted to see. Considering that Aldeburgh is a small town it is great that it has such... More

We saw a film at the cinema whilst on holiday recently. I booked the tickets online in advance, which was very straightforward. Excellent film and sound quality, very comfortable seats, reasonably priced treats at the kiosk. Very enjoyable evening, would highly recommend.

Lovely small old fashioned cinema, I think they don't often show mainstream films but more foreign language type /cultural films

This has got to be the best cinema I have ever been to. Friendly staff, very comfortable seats and so much better than any of the chain impersonal cinema chains.

Loved this little cinema on our holiday, it's small but perfectly formed! Nice staff and a good selection of refreshments. You can take your wine or beer into the performance which is a bonus in my eyes! Keep up the good work!

Independant cinemas are enjoying a renaissance with customers who aren't bothered to see the latest release the moment it hits the multiplex, but want an authentic experience. Places like the Rex in Berkhamsted even have tables and a bar, but a common theme is a single screen, very comfortable seating and prices that are at least equal to (or often... More

We love this Cinema. It was a rainy Sunday afternoon so that was the excuse to visit for the 16:00 showing of Swallows and Amazons. There was a special price for this showing of £6 each rather than the normal £8.50. The cinema was perhaps a quarter full and the seats comfortable. There were not too many adverts before the... Love this cinema, perfect place to watch the BFG, it's quirky and so delightfully British, just like Dahl's BFG..despite being a small cinema sound and picture quality were superb!

Great little cinema. Two grown adults going to see BFG (not at all embarrassing!). This cinema has very comfy seats and the quality of the film was superb. So good to visit a town that has independent shops and an independent cinema, I really hope it stays this way for years to come.
