This cinema is small, with comfortable sofa style seats and you can take in drinks and be free of all the noise and rubbish you find in cineworld. This cinema has a restaurant too which is great for lunches or post movie eating. It has a membership plan which is worth a look. Some of my mature friends who live... More

Much more atmospheric and friendly than the local multiplex, and I love the cuddle seats . The bar was pleasant but the popcorn is pricy

Such a happy, friendly atmosphere. Have a snack or meal before the show, take a glass of wine or coffee into the cinema and enjoy the comfortable adjustable seats. It all adds up to a lovely occasion.

Visiting Abbeygate cinema is like visiting a good friend's house - it's warm, welcoming, great food and drink available, a comfy sofa to share in front of the screen with a glass of wine or a cold beer too! With friends or family this takes vising the cinema to a different level and we now wouldn't go anywhere else to... More

Cinema experience as it should be. Very comfy seats. Up to the minute films, plus streaming from RSC, NT, galleries, opera and ballet. Take your wine or coffee into the film. Become a member and get 3 free films and discount on others. Very friendly manager. Lovely cafe/bar attached. Thoroughly recommend it.

Well worth a little extra, to get a meal or at least a glass of wine to take in to enjoy with the film. Comfy seats, friendly staff. My favourite cinema.

Great food, THE most comfortable cinema seats, and you can enjoy a glass of very acceptable wine whilst watching the latest film release. HEAVEN! If you are going to visit more than a couple of times a year it is well worth becoming a member..

His idea, not mine, so off we went to see 'Sully'. Clint Eastwoods Direction was brilliant so was Tom Hanks portrayel of Chesley Sullenberger, the brilliant and courageous airline pilot who landed A320 Airbus on the Hudson River. But first we ate, a delicious and the best I have had for a long time, beefburfer. Not my first choice of... More
