An excellent craft venue with many plus points too!
I have attended several workshops both longer ones and one day ones - stained glass with the amazing Louise, paper cutting, needle felting and have several more coming up. The venue is superb, the staff very helpful and kind with plenty of free parking and with a farm shop and cafe on the same site. The short taster workshops are ideal if you want to just give it a try. They even have children’s workshops during the holidays without ignoring the adults!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review We are so pleased that you have enjoyed all your creative experiences with us. We hope to see you for more in the future!

    “Such Fun” Creative Mosaic
Today I did a Creative Mosaic course. I had never done Mosaic before so Emma had to start from the beginning. From when it started until I left I had a fantastic time. I learnt such a lot and will be going back to finish what I started, and once completed I will grout it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about Mosaic and try it out! There is a great selection of boards, on which to mount your Mosaic, then there are different coloured bits of tiles, shells or glass pieces to build your Mosaic with. The equipment is there for you to break or nip the material into shape.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the mosaic session. We can't wait to see it grouted and polished up. We look forward to seeing you for more creative sessions in the future!

Fabulous place to create, shop or simply get inspired
Just been to a wonderful watercolour art class with Helen Clarke here. Helen is a very inspiring artist and the class was so much fun. This is a wonderful studio/shop in Woodbridge which we are very lucky to have - there is something for everyone: whether you're shopping for arts and crafts or looking to learn. The space is perfect and the welcome outstanding. If you're in the area, you MUST pay it a visit!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased you loved your watercolour workshop with Helen. We hope to see you for more creative sessions in the future!

    Totally enjoyable evening
Had another totally enjoyable evening at EJaRt. This time we had a super tutor teaching how to use various papers to create collages. There was a magnificent array of diverse materials to use and lots of helpful advice. Such fun!

A wonderful way to spend time
Almost every week I spend a fabulous couple of hours working on pottery projects in Emma’s wonderful studio. I would go every day if I was able to. Emma’s knowledge of pottery is incredible and I can’t imagine there is anything she doesn’t know about clay. The only problem is time, it just goes so fast in that magical place. Thank you so very much for so much pleasure.

Wonderful evening of creativity and learning a new skill
An utterly absorbing evening of creativity! We made festive tea lights from clay. Emma was a wonderful, patient teacher giving great explanations and encouragement. The hours flew by and I was delighted with what I made!

    Excellent!!!
I’m not in the least artistic. In fact, I’m probably THE least artistic person ever to write a review. But, Emma is an incredibly, talented, patient, and professional person. I attended my initial afternoon with great trepidation, but absolutely loved it. I’m now back for 6 sessions. Try it! Try it now!

A seascape on canvas experimenting with acrylics
This was an art tutorial using acrylic paints .We did a seascape which was fun and reasonably challenging. I like the atmosphere in the studio and working alongside other like minded people is great. It’s an enjoyable and mindful thing to do and a way to meet new people. The tutor for today, Carla, was good and explained everything well. She was open to any questions we wanted to ask. I left with a small canvas painting that I was pleased with.

This is a gorgeous craft workshop and gallery space, just a few minutes drive out of Woodbridge.

Emma and Rob are very welcoming and have a wealth of experience in a variety of crafts. I've just finished a pottery course, but have also attended Friday evening workshops, and school holiday events with my children - all of which we have really enjoyed.

It a lovely place to just drop by, or to sign up for a craft course or two. Highly recommended. (If you visit at the right time the excellent Barn Cafe next door will be open for delicious snacks too)

My daughters (7 & 10) loves the clay session. They made their own clay pots and bowls and can’t wait to go back and glaze them.

Emma was lovely and calm with them, teaching them lots of clay skills. It was lovely to watch but we also had a sneaky coffee and left them on their own for a bit.

Today I attended my first art class at EJaRt Creative. I had a wonderful time and the instructor was amazing. I was not sure what to expect as I have not picked up a paintbrush in a long time, but the session was relaxed and informative and I quickly got into the groove. Thank you everyone involved in today's session and I have re-booked my next session. Cheryl Finlayson

If I could leave 10 stars, I would. I contacted Emma about a bespoke private hen do session and she was so helpful from the start. She tailored the painting class exactly to the bride-to-be’s interests and added in some extra bits to paint as well as some Prosecco which we were not expecting!

Emma was so helpful and friendly throughout and we all really enjoyed it. Great value for money too with free tea, coffee and delicious biscuits!

I would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for something fun and relaxing to do, it finished the hen do off brilliantly! Xxx

Took 4 grandchildren aged between 4 and 9 to create there own piece out of clay . They thoroughly enjoyed the session and learnt much from Emma who gave each individual attention as well as demonstrating the guidance on what to do . The children found it easy to follow her direction and are looking forward to returning to put there glaze decoration on after their animal pots have been fired in the kiln

I had a lovely afternoon at EJart making botanical imprints on clay and then forming the clay into vases. Emma was patient and explained the process clearly, giving help when needed. She even let the session run over so I could finish my pieces which was really kind. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished articles! Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Thoroughly enjoyable workshop. I was lucky enough to have 121 tuition with Emma who was warm and welcoming. I made a fair few items which I can't wait to see them fired and then have the opportunity to add a glaze.
The location of the studio is great, right next to a cafe which was ideal as the course finished at 1pm.

We visited for a class to make botanical clay wrap vases. Such an enjoyable and absorbing creative afternoon. We were delighted with our creations and can’t wait to go back and put on some colour and see them when they have been fired in the kiln. Emma was a great teacher and there was a real calming atmosphere in the workshop. The items for sale are also delightful so well worth a visit. The farm shop cafe and on site fishmonger are worth a visit.

Just finished my second class of venturing into modelling pottery again after a break of 38 years . Emma’s classes are very relaxing and encouraging . Wished I’d been able to attend a long time ago . Covid safe individual areas to work in and masks worn . This was an important factor for me . Can’t wait until next week to get on with my ‘creations ‘

Recently attended a Printmaking: Lino Flowers session and thoroughly enjoyed it! I haven't done any printing since school but the tutor was very patient and helpful and I'm really proud of the cards I made. Would definitely do a similar course in the future. Highly recommended!
