What a gem of a museum - it looks small from the outside but is like a tardis. There is so much so see, all well presented and the staff (all volunteers) are friendly and very well informed and pleased to help. It really is worth a visit and very enlightening. The cafe is very informal and the food is... More

I have driven past the museum sign on the A12 many times but finally had chance to visit today. It was well worth the wait. It is so much more than a restored control tower with informative displays and a section relating to the little known British Resistance Organisation. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for your nice comments. We are very proud of our museum. It is a bit like the Tardis. Small on the outside but big on the inside. Glad you enjoyed your visit. More

Yesterday was my forth visit and still as good as ever. With new exhibits each year makes the return visit as interesting as the first. Ideal for families there is something of interest for all age groups. This museum is a credit to the hard working volunteers.

Loads of memorabilia and interesting historical material for anyone who wants to tell the children about the war or interested in the history of the area - there are lots of pieces of local WWII related items and very enthusiastic staff to tell you about it all

Worth following the winding country roads to find this amazing little airfield with so much history! (We missed our turn several times before finding it!) It looks like a small venue but visitors can visit the control tower and view the surrounding farmland which would have been the airfield in the 1940s, see the interior of Nissan huts which would... Some museums of this type can be a bit rough around the edges and in need of some TLC. Parham is definitely not in that category, it is a real credit to the volunteers who run it. The décor is good, it is clean and the toilets are first class. A wonderful collection of exhibits, if B17s are your passion... More

Helpful staff lots of exhibits. Also dedicated to the Auxiliary Forces - the British Resistance. Entry is FREE but your donation is well deserved. Recreated life on a US WW2 airfield.

Saw the sign at the roadside and decided to take a look. What an incredible place. This was the home to the 390th Bomb Group, 8th U.S Army Air Force during the second World War. It was constructed by gangs of labourers, many from Ireland, and became a major base for a large number of aircraft, amongst them were; B52's,... More

Thank you for your lovely review and the reasons behind why we are here and should never forget the sacrifice of the young men that flew from here. FYI The planes were B17 Flying Fortresses that flew from here not B52's. More
