Leith Hill

One of the best places to walk in the south east of England. You can walk for hours surrounded in beautiful countryside and the views are outstanding.

The legend says a man is buried upside down on top of his horse in the tower...at least that is what my Grandad used to say. I have walked on top of Leith Hill many times as a child and return every 5-10 years to admire the view.

We often come here. The walks can be as long or as short as you choose. A good place to spend a couple of hours.

I love Leith Hill. Great for walking, loads of things to see. Great views and a tower at the top which has a tea hut which serves homemade soup and a lump of bread.

On a sunny day Leith Hill is one of the nicest places on earth. I could sit for hours looking out over the countryside, and watching the planes landing into LGW. As others have mentioned, from the tower on a clear day you can see LHR, the Wembley Arch, The Shard, Canary Wharf to the North, and the South Downs... More

I have been here many times,it is one of my favourite places! Yesterday I could see the Shard and Canary wharf very clearly. The walks around the tower are lovely, and they vary in difficulty. I am a national trust member so got into the tower on my card but it's only a couple of quid each if you aren't a... More

I love it here..you can see the Shard, Wembley stadium and Canary Wharf, far beyond the beautiful Surrey hills. I'm told on a bright day you can see the Channel but it's eluded me so far! Great walks and the chance to buy a nice cup of tea too!

Good parking areas with a good variety of walks up to the tower. Access to the tower is available with great view and some of the history of the place available - good coffee / tea / cakes at the small kiosk
