Large house that was donated to the national trust and has a cafe/kitchen that serves scones and cream. The path from the carpark to the house is fairly muddy in winter times. Cash only accepted.

Lovely interesting old place but the best thing about it is when you finish have a homemade cake or scone with tea or coffee at a small price in lovely English china and take in the views of the Surrey hills.

Interesting place but rather due to connection with Vaughan Williams rather than the building itself. But there are some nice walks in the grounds and vicinity, including up to Leith Hill itself and Leith Hill tower - the highest point in the South-East
