Group of 6 of us partook in a cookery class as a Christmas present.
Sue was fab.
Went through everything with clear guidelines and understanding.
Documented the whole session with photos.
Flexible with taste buds.
Added bonus of Jasmine tea was to die for!!
Would 100% recommend to anyone even to learn some little tips.
Will be returning to cook some further dishes!

Fun activity to do with friends or family, wonderful gift for special birthdays and occasions. Sue is a great teacher and adapts the course to accommodate individual needs. The course takes place in her own kitchen which makes for an intimate experience that you can replicate in your own kitchen to hone your new cooking skills. Sue provided tea and home made lemonade throughout which was a special touch. She loves travelling and cooking and we enjoyed hearing about both. By the time we left we felt like we have made a new friend. Would love to return to cook some of the other menu’s on offer.

It was lovely to see you and Anuschka last week, and thank you for your very kind review. I hope you both have the opportunity to get together to make some more gyozas. I was given this course as a birthday present from my family, and what a wonderful present it was. Sue showed us how to make a delicious Malaysian meal completely from scratch but taught me so much more. She is patient, kind and endlessly encouraging and I would recommend trying her courses. The time flew by and over so quickly. Will certainly be returning with my daughter to learn some more. Have also gained a huge respect for how much Iove and time goes into preparing and cooking Asian food.

My Dad and I were gifted a 5 spice cookery class as a birthday present ! The class showed me loads of handy tips and tricks on how to prepare a menu that I would never have normally cooked, the food was incredible, and Sue was Sue was a great hostess providing us with tea coffee and hone made lemonade, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend highly !!

Apologies for the late response to your kind review, the arrival of a new grandson and grandma duties have kept me pre-occupied. I am pleased that Euan and yourself have enjoyed our class and look forward to seeing you again for another specialist cuisine.

My husband and I were given a 5 Spice cookery lesson for our ‘ big ‘ birthdays . What a fun , wonderful experience!
Sue greeted us warmly into her lovely home. Once we had relaxed , she showed us the ingredients , some of which we were not familiar with . She helpfully told us where to purchase them . Then to work !
Under Sue’s instruction , we made a delicious Massaman Curry , with stir fry vegetables . Dessert was Mango Sticky Rice We learnt so much along the way such as improved knife skills and how to ensure your dish has the correct the level of spice ( As well as how to rescue it if it has too much !!)
Sue is an excellent teacher with a lovely sense of humour . The afternoon flew by and before we knew it we were sitting down to a delicious , flavoursome meal . And we had made it !
We left with full detailed recipes . Massaman Curry has many ingredients and several stages but thanks to Sue we feel confident to tackle it ourselves . Thai supermarket here we come !

Booked this experience for my mum's birthday and we had a wonderful morning making a delicious Malaysian meal. Sue is a brilliant and inspiring teacher, the setting is lovely and I'd recommend her classes to anyone looking to learn authentic dishes regardless of prior experience. We'll definitely go back for another class!

This was a wonderful gift. We spent 2 to 3 hours cooking Malaysian food. Sue and Paul were so welcoming. Sue’s preparation was meticulous and the class for 6 of us was a pleasure to attend. All the food was good but I particularly enjoyed making the pandan pancakes. She organised the menu so well for the both vegetarian and meat eaters. All of us have said we would love to attend another of her cookery courses. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious experience.

Sue was fantastic! Extremely warm, welcoming, very knowledgeable, and taught us so much before we even started cooking.
My wife and I have experienced various massaman curries, from Gousto recipes, restaurants, and takeaways, and the one we cooked with Sue blows them out the water!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and will be returning in the future for another lesson.

The personalised nature of this experience and the instructions that Sue gave were fantastic, and she is such a good guide. Was also great fun to chat with. And needless to say the food was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend as a gift to treat yourself or others with.

I booked this for my husbands birthday, we made Massaman curry from scratch, stir fried veg and mango sticky rice. It was so fun to make the curry, seeing all the ingredients and how it comes together. Sue is a great teacher and has so much knowledge and we learnt so much from today! It all tasted incredible and took us back as if we were in Thailand again. We made so much food, we also got to take home what we made and have for dinner.
