We booked an 'escape' room for our 16 year old son and his friends for a birthday treat. They had a great time and hey were well looked after. My husband and I were able to watch them in the room, on monitors, outside the room - which I must say was really funny. All round a good experience. One I will be doing again - in another room - obviously!

We couldn’t wait to go on another Mouse’s Puzzle Trail, we’ve done a few before, and each time they get better and better.
Despite the wind, rain and mud of, well, every British season, we love our family tradition of puzzling around Debbie’s Vineyard, figuring out key codes and helping Mouse solve their mysteries (be it Halloween, Christmas … any time Paradox Parlours add a trail!). You’d think by now we’d race around the trail solving in an instant - but somehow they still manage to add a variety of head-scratching puzzles that keep the kids from yelling “Can we go inside yet?” (a common sound for our two kids).
If you have kids (or even if you don’t), try a Paradox Parlour puzzle trail. They’re inventive, there is always someone there at the start to set the scene and bring the magic (usually Steve, we love you Steve you’re amazing), the accompanying puzzle illustrations are wonderful (thanks Ricardo) and it’s an absolute joy to take part every single time.

What an incredible place. We booked for my son's 13th birthday - 5 boys, and me (dad), as an adult has to be there. It was brilliant fun for all of us. It tested us, at the start I thought it would be too easy, halfway through I thought it was impossible, then somehow an hour was exactly the time we needed to solve it, together as a team - so it was a great chance to work together. It seems like it was all just chance, but of course it wasn't. The game, the room, the business, is all carefully constructed to make the perfect game experience. The team were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make it a great experience for all of us. Above all, we had fun without a phone, a screen, a console in sight. Wonderful! I'd go again, and I'd recommend it hugely.

Our first time doing an escape room and we will definitely be doing more! We did the Venus room and just about completed it in time with the help of Annika. The clues given along the way were pitched well - not making it too easy but just stepping in when we were struggling a bit! Some of the puzzles were a little repetitive but there was a good variety aimed at all different skills. We were three generations with a teenager, a parent and a grandparent and everyone enjoyed themselves. Annika was an excellent host too!

Such a fun experience! The team ere super friendly and made the experience all the better.
We went with a mix of players, some had done a few escape rooms and for some it was a first time. We did the Venus room and all enjoyed our time!
We will definitely be doing another escape experience with these guys!

First time doing an escape room, and an excellent experience.
Sofie orientated us and guided us
through a fun and interesting mystery "the case of the missing gun"
The set was imaginative and fun, with secrets an discoveries hidden in every spot.
Can't wait to return and do the other rooms here!

Having played quite a few escape rooms, this was right up there with the best! We did the Case of the Missing Gun which was more of a solve a crime than actually having to escape the room but the props were all very authentic and the clues were challenging but achievable. The guy who guided us through it was excellent! Would highly recommend and hope to return for a different Paradox game.

Warm, friendly welcome when we went for my daughter's birthday.
Clearly explained. We were a range ages from 12 to 50 something and it was suitable for all. Staff really helpful and we all enjoyed it.

My daughter wants to do this for her 13th birthday party. How many adults need to participate please and which room is most appropriate for that age?
Hi, there must be at least one adult per room. Each room holds a maximum of 6 people, so you could have up to 5 junior players and one adult in your team.
Both rooms have a similar success rate (and are equally as fun) so either would be appropriate, whichever theme your daughter prefers the sound of.

The games have been designed for 4 players but allow up to 6. There are 2 games, so you could spilt into two teams.

There is no bar, but it's directly in the town centre with plenty of bars near by :-)

We did it for the 14th birthday party of our son. They really enjoyed it. I would not do this room much younger as it is quite a difficult one. The other room I understand is a bit easier
